Although her grandfather encouraged her to prioritize cultivation and begin the Divine Examination for the Angel God’s inheritance, she persisted partly because she hoped her achievements would win Bibi Dong’s acknowledgment 48.

Her position involved ministerial accusations, succession struggles, and repeated assassination attempts. She eventually ordered action against the Second and Third Princes’ factions, explicitly sparing Xue Beng and Xue Ke because they were uninvolved 48 157.

Tang Yin’s Memories and the Two Worlds

Qian Renxue’s story involves counterparts in Tang San’s world and Tang Yin and Lin Yue’s world. Tang San’s counterpart experiences Tang Yin’s childhood through a vivid first-person dream, while the Qian Renxue living in Tang Yin’s world initially retains only a faint impression of warmth and the name “Brother Lin” 48 53.

Within the dream, Qian Renxue shares Tang Yin’s loneliness, affection, and relief at having Lin Yue beside her. She envies their companionship and interprets Lin Yue’s refusal of Spirit Hall’s invitation as a sacrifice made to remain with Tang Yin. Tang San’s World: Turning Memories into Resources

After waking, Qian Renxue sends She Long to investigate Holy Soul Village discreetly, warning him against confronting the powerful Titled Douluo protecting Tang Yin. She also reports Whale Rubber’s body-tempering properties to Spirit Hall and seeks to monopolize its supply 53.

She Long instead finds a male Tang San, no Tang Yin, and no Lin Yue anywhere near Nuoding City. Qian Renxue concludes that the childhood she witnessed may have been only a dream. Learning of Tang San’s hostility toward Spirit Hall hardens her determination to settle the blood feud with Tang Hao 92.

Three years after the first dream, she is summoned to the Spatial Arena alongside Dugu Bo and Lin Yue. The subsequent Echoing Illusion reveals further details of Tang Yin’s upbringing, Lin Yue’s Immortal Herb preparations, and the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. She identifies Lin Yue as the decisive difference between Tang San and Tang Yin’s lives 115 117 120.

Qian Renxue leaves the illusion to prevent Tang San and Tang Hao from securing the herbs. She mobilizes Spirit Hall’s forces, travels to Sunset Forest with Snake Lance and Pufferfish, and personally prevents Tang San from obtaining the Aromatic Silk Beauty. After the confrontation, she halts pursuit of Tang Hao and recruits Dugu Bo as a Revered Elder. He permits her to select herbs his family no longer needs 124 138 141.

Lin Yue’s World: A Shared Political Vision

After hearing that Lin Yue is staying with the Dugu Family, Qian Renxue arranges a visit as Xue Qinghe. Meeting him produces a powerful sense of familiarity that she cannot place 74 81 87.

Their private discussion of Spirit Hall becomes a turning point. Lin Yue argues that its strength comes from recruiting talented commoners rather than privileging inherited bloodlines. Qian Renxue sees him as someone who understands both her ambitions and the meaning of her sacrifices, and asks him to help change the world. Although he postpones joining her, she offers him her friendship and assistance 88 89.

Over the following years, she frequently visits the Dugu Family and consults Lin Yue about government and reform. She implements practical policies and clashes with the emperor over political differences. Her goal develops beyond seizing the throne toward revitalizing the empire and eventually unifying the continent 154 155 159 161.

When Lin Yue reaches twelve, she plans to bring him into Heaven Dou Royal Academy and recruit him as her retainer. She also wagers that Spirit Hall will win the next Soul Master Tournament: victory would make Lin Yue her right-hand man, while defeat would oblige her to grant him three requests 154 156.

Assassination Attempt and Failed Confession

An attack on the crown prince’s residence disrupts Qian Renxue’s disguise and exposes her female appearance. Lin Yue outwardly assumes she is a Heaven Dou woman posing as a man to serve the empire, an explanation she accepts to protect her Spirit Hall identity 156 157.

As they escape the assassins, Lin Yue repeatedly shields her from their Soul Sage leader. In a cramped minecart, Qian Renxue kisses him and asks him to remain beside her while she changes the world. His answer—that he already has a partner—leaves her devastated 158 159.

Watching him continue to fight for “Crown Prince Xue Qinghe,” she decides to reveal herself fully rather than receive his loyalty under another person’s name. Before she can complete the revelation, Lin Yue summons his Bibi Dong Doll, whose appearance and presence convince Qian Renxue that her mother has arrived 160 161 162.

The doll kills the assassin, briefly embraces Qian Renxue, and departs carrying Lin Yue. Qian Renxue returns to the crown prince’s residence determined to follow the Angel God’s teachings, though still shaken by the apparent affection and renewed rejection 161.
