History

Shrek Academy initially enjoys a public image as an institution that follows the “righteous path.” Tang San cites the academy’s reputation while defending Yu Xiaogang at the opening of the Hypocrite Rankings 1.

That image begins to fail when Headmaster Flender publicly minimizes Dai Mubai’s abandonment of Zhu Zhuqing as “youthful recklessness.” The Sky Screen judges Flender’s defense as accomplice behavior and forcibly deducts one rank of his Soul Power 2.

Yu Xiaogang’s exposure further damages the academy. Footage shows him working from texts associated with Spirit Hall, the Star Luo Royal Family, and the Clear Sky Sect while presenting the resulting material as his own research; Flender’s attempted defense falters after the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan confirms Yu’s theft of clan records 5. Shrek’s students subsequently question whether Yu’s theories were truly responsible for their accomplishments 9.

The academy’s crisis becomes irreversible after Tang San’s treatment of Xiao Wu, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun is exposed. Flender condemns Tang San for raising a companion “like livestock,” while Oscar and Ma Hongjun formally leave the Shrek Seven Devils 15 16. Suotuo City residents destroy the academy’s sign, and the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament removes Shrek Team because it no longer meets the minimum active-member requirement 16.

Shrek Academy is repeatedly used as the setting from which Dai Mubai, Yu Xiaogang, Tang San, and their companions respond to the Sky Screen’s accusations. Its name becomes tied to Flender’s protection of Dai and to Yu Xiaogang’s discredited academic reputation 2 5.

Tang San’s Exposure and the Team’s Collapse

The academy becomes the center of Tang San’s unraveling. Xiao Wu confronts him after his tactical simulations label her bait, while Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong physically keep her away from him 13. After Tang San’s plan to use Xiao Wu as a future soul ring is exposed, Zhu Zhuqing returns his hidden weapons and Ning Rongrong discards his pendant 15.

Tang San’s distribution of immortal herbs finally breaks the remaining team. The Sky Screen reveals that he reserved the safest, god-physique-enhancing herbs for himself while accepting irreversible harmful outcomes for Oscar and Ma Hongjun; both denounce him and withdraw 16.

Future Legacy

Ten thousand years later, Shrek Academy is revealed as a powerful institution rather than a neglected local school. Xuan Zi, its Rank 98 future dean, confronts more than 150,000 Sun Moon Empire troops alone and devours their Soul Tool attacks with the Taotie Avatar 37.

Mu En, master of the Sea God Pavilion, remains Shrek’s guardian despite a broken spine. He forces the Rank 98 Du Bisou and the Body Sect to retreat, then later rises during a beast tide to lead Shrek’s defense with the command: “Shrek, fight to the death. Never retreat.” 40

Huo Yuhao is also a future Shrek student. Though initially a Level 11 freshman who sells grilled fish, he is revealed as the future top-ranked powerhouse: a Rank 99 Ultimate Douluo, Level 10 Soul Engineer, and inheritor of the God of Emotions’ First-Level Godhood 42.
