It was another early morning. Roy got up at dawn and headed out with Mia. They took Floo Powder to the Leaky Cauldron for a hearty breakfast, then packed up a huge pile of takeout from Tom before finally returning home, thoroughly satisfied.
Once they got back, Roy stuffed the food into the newly bought refrigerator, then eagerly climbed up to the attic on the third floor to continue tinkering with the assorted odds and ends in his collection by himself.
"It's finally going to be finished."
Roy's muttering drifted down from the attic. Mia stood at the bottom of the ladder leading to the third floor, looking up at the cramped attic entrance, where dazzling flashes of welding light kept flickering. Just as she was about to climb up and investigate, the front door downstairs was suddenly pounded on heavily.
"Coming!!!"
Not bothering to investigate Roy's project anymore, barefoot Mia darted down from the second floor, rushed to the door, and yanked it open.
Mia had thought Harry and the others had come to play with her. Just yesterday, she and Roy had received a letter from Mrs Weasley saying she planned to bring Harry and the others over for a visit.
But when Mia opened the door, she did not see Harry. Instead, she saw a beautifully dressed young girl with exquisite makeup standing outside. Several servants stood behind her, each carrying a huge pile of things.
"W-Who are you?"
Seeing Mia open the door, Aisling lowered her head and carefully examined Mia, who was only as tall as her chest. Then she smiled meaningfully, patted Mia on the head, and called to her servants as she started walking into the house.
