Shen Qinghuai initially leads a Shi Corporation fashion project team while facing distrust from both the company’s old guard and his younger brother-in-law, Shi Jihan. Shi’s interference has already damaged much of Qinghuai’s career in the original storyline, and Qinghuai expects the project to collapse under the chaos. At a banquet, Qinghuai attempts to secure President Wang’s investment for the fashion show. The investment ultimately enables Qinghuai’s team to proceed with the fashion show.
