An Azure Dragon and a Droplet Go Head-to-Head!

Kaido transformed into his Hybrid Form, his ferocious dragon horns curving back and unkempt black hair flying in disarray as he opened his mouth to spew a surging pillar of flame that engulfed the incoming Droplet.

Yet the scorching flames landed on the Droplet without causing the slightest bit of harm.

In the blink of an eye, the Droplet burst out of the Bolo Breath, its absolute-smooth, zero-degree surface directly refracting and splitting the torrent of fire.

It had zero effect!

The marine soldiers, the Three Admirals, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, and Garp all watched with beaming smiles.

Meanwhile, Kaido harbored a surge of stifled rage and felt extremely annoyed.

Having fought back and forth with this Droplet-shaped thing for two full hours now, his body hadn'Golden Divine Punishment stopped for a single moment, yet as the battle dragged on, the Droplet-shaped object showed no signs of weakening whatsoever, its defense remaining terrifyingly high, while he himself was growing somewhat tired.

His physical stamina was still relatively fine; the real issue was mental fatigue! The Droplet sustained no injuries, and under the continuous collisions, Kaido's own flesh ached.

Of course, Kaido had no idea that Kizaru was controlling the Droplet.

The returning Droplet charged toward Kaido once again.

Right at that moment, the Dark Clouds in Kong churned turbulently, and the rumbling of thunder and flashes of lightning intensified!

Kaido held his Kanabo in one hand and spun it around, and in that instant, lightning formed from black Haki surged forth!

"He's using Conqueror's Haki!"

Garp's previously beaming face tightened as he spoke with a hint of surprise.

Kaido's strength was naturally immense, but up until this fight, he hadn'Golden Divine Punishment truly brought out his real kung fu and used Conqueror's Haki infusion!

This meant Kaido was going to unleash a major technique!

Sure enough, just as Sengoku, Aokiji, Akainu, and the others all changed expressions.

Kaido leaped straight up toward the flying Droplet, pouncing upon it with a firm grip on his Kanabo, and the next moment!

The Kanabo smashed down, targeted squarely at the oncoming Droplet! Black lightning mirrored the sky, dragging out long luminescent trails.

Another deafening explosion rang out as their forces collided, and a terrifying shockwave formed in midair, erupting outward!

Everyone watched this scene with utter shock; the more timid marines were even trembling slightly, their eyes quaking!

Yet up on the fortress tower, Sengoku, Garp, Kizaru, as well as Akainu, Aokiji, Onigumo, and the others beside the Plaza appeared composed, even though they were all startled by the technique Kaido had pulled out.

For reasons unknown, however, they still held immense confidence in the Droplet's defense.

"This level of power... is still not enough to break the Droplet!"

Equipped with the Controller, Kizaru was able to receive real-time feedback from the Droplet's artificial intelligence.

It was powerful, but it could still hold its ground! Naturally, the Droplet was still driven crashing into the ground by Kaido, leaving behind a massive, collapsed crater.

"Hmph! After taking my Armament Haki heavy blows so many times, and now enduring Conqueror's Haki infusion, I refuse to believe it's still not broken!"

Kaido was extremely confident in this strike; not even any of the Three Admirals could easily take it head-on. Surely a thing without life would finally break?

The dust kicked up across the collapsed Plaza gradually began to settle.

Akainu and Aokiji both glanced back at the composed Kizaru, instantly knowing what was what in their hearts and offering Kaido a sneering smile.

Sengoku and Garp stood close to Kizaru, naturally hearing him say it was fine, and their faces beamed with smiles.

As the dust fell and the visibility cleared, Kaido stared at the Droplet resting within the crater and couldn'Golden Divine Punishment help bursting into loud laughter, convinced it must have been smashed to pieces by him.

Suddenly! The head and tail of the Droplet leveled out as it hovered in place, as if gazing directly at Kaido, causing Kaido's laughter to cut off abruptly as his pupils constricted.

"Impossible! How can this be! It..."

The Droplet-shaped thing before his eyes was still as smooth and pristine as new!

Bizarre! There was an exceedingly bizarre feeling to it all!

Why couldn'Golden Divine Punishment it be broken no matter what? Just what was the marines' secret weapon made of to possess such formidable defensive power?!

With a look of astonishment and sheer bewilderment, he drew a cold taunt from Akainu Sakazuki: "Weren'Golden Divine Punishment you looking for a death wish? Did you really think your physical body was invincible? You can'Golden Divine Punishment even compare to this Droplet alone."

Kaido gritted his teeth, glaring daggers at Sakazuki, wanting to snap back with an immediate retort, but the uncanny sensation in his heart was simply too bizarre—especially the feeling that the Droplet was "watching" him.

"Hmph, Akainu, I guarantee you wouldn'Golden Divine Punishment dare say such a thing in the New World! But we'll leave it at that for today; I suddenly don'Golden Divine Punishment want to die anymore."

Kaido's moods shifted unpredictably; one second he was glaring in fury, and the next he turned indifferent, merely casting a provocative glance at Sakazuki as he spoke.

He wanted to leave, and unless old-era fellows like Sengoku and Garp relentlessly pursued him, no one could stop him. Naturally, those old codgers wouldn'Golden Divine Punishment give chase.

And so, right before the eyes of all the marines, Kaido transformed into a giant dragon amidst a burst of purple light and soared skyward toward Kong!

Yet right in the middle of his ascent, the midsection of the dragon's body was savagely struck by the Droplet!

The rounded head of the Droplet collided solidly with Kaido's dragon body, and amidst a miserably shrieking dragon roar, Kaido was nearly knocked back down into the Plaza, his form bending into a massive, exaggerated arc.

Yet the next instant, Kaido forcefully batted the Droplet away, spewed out a surge of Bolo Breath, and seized the momentum to gain altitude, thrusting forward into the cloud layer.

"We won'Golden Divine Punishment let you leave that easily either."

The Controller on Kizaru's head flashed with a blue light, directing the Droplet along an erratic path of movement as it continuously pursued and attacked Kaido.

The marine soldiers down below couldn'Golden Divine Punishment see the high-speed, erratically moving Droplet, but they could hear Kaido's irritated and frantic roaring.

Every now and then, a blast of Bolo Breath would sweep across the sky, or he would manifest thunder from his voice in an attempt to bat the Droplet away.

Yet facing Kaido in his giant dragon form, the Droplet appeared even more agile, darting along various triangular trajectories to harass him relentlessly, beating the flesh beneath Kaido's dragon scales until it ached fiercely.

"Hahaha..."

Garp clutched his stomach and roared with laughter, clearly thoroughly amused by Kaido, who was fleeing in a frenzy yet completely helpless against the Droplet.

Since when had one of the Four Emperors of the sea ever experienced such an awkward and helpless moment?

Sengoku and Kizaru were much the same, grinning from ear to ear.

It was just a pity that Kaido was truly difficult to kill; otherwise, they could have easily captured him this time around!
