An abrupt explosion!
Kizaru, Gion, Chaton, and the others were startled, hurrying over to investigate.
What is going on!?
Kizaru, arriving instantly in a flash of light, was somewhat bewildered as he watched thick smoke billow from the laboratory.
He was just about to rush in to save someone when he spotted a figure dash out from the thick smoke.
"Hahahaha~"
With a blown-out afro and a face covered in soot, Lynn ran outside and laughed uncontrollably.
Following behind him was a person-sized, droplet-shaped object, one that gave Borsalino a sense of unreality at just a single glance!
"It's finally done!"
Paying no attention to the anxiously arriving Borsalino, Gion, and the others, Lynn simply laughed to himself.
The arriving Marines gathered around. Seeing that Lynn, a Celestial Dragon, was unharmed—aside from his utterly miserable appearance—they wore strange expressions.
This Celestial Dragon really was somewhat eccentric.
He had actually spent three months doing tech work inside, and on top of that, an explosion had suddenly occurred, causing him to emerge in such a disheveled state while laughing out loud. If this were any other Celestial Dragon, they would have flown into a rage and implicated the innocent long ago.
Come to think of it, judging from the past three months, did Figarland Lynn really not have a single slave?
"Figarland, are you alright?"
Kizaru Borsalino took a slightly solemn look at the Droplet beside Lynn before asking the laughing Lynn.
His injuries looked like they could be severe or minor, but his main concern was seeing how much physical discomfort Lynn was experiencing.
To his surprise, Lynn waved a hand nonchalantly, focused his gaze on the Droplet behind him, and chuckled foolishly.
The person-sized, droplet-shaped object had a very high surface smoothness and floated without the slightest fluctuation, which was the reason Borsalino's gaze kept shifting.
Gion, Chaton, and Onigumo, who arrived later, also heaved sighs of relief upon seeing that the World Noble Lynn was unhurt. If an accident had happened while they were providing security, the Holy Land of Mary Geoise would have come looking for trouble even if they bore no responsibility.
Immediately afterward, just like Borsalino, they turned their attention to the floating Droplet behind Lynn!
No way! Did a Celestial Dragon actually invent something?!
A wave stirred in Gion's heart, and she could not help muttering to herself.
Astonishment, surprise, and doubt!
Because the Droplet looked utterly supernatural!
Chaton and Onigumo even opened their mouths slightly, momentarily stunned. They even overlooked Lynn's afro at that moment, guessing that this was likely what Lynn had been tinkering with for three months.
"This thing looks extraordinary, Saint Figarland. Is it...?"
After confirming Lynn's condition, Kizaru Borsalino spoke up with a faint smile.
"This is my invention. It's called the Droplet."
Lynn wiped his face before turning to inform the others.
"The Droplet... It really does resemble one. What does it do?"
Kizaru took a gentle step forward, appearing to want to approach the Droplet for a closer look.
"It... can inflict an Admiral-level attack."
However, Lynn's words caused Borsalino's advancing footsteps to halt.
Gion, Chaton, and Onigumo looked at Lynn with utterly speechless expressions.
Even as one of the Celestial Dragons, you can'Golden Divine Punishment just talk big like that, right? That's completely absurd! Do you even know what an Admiral-level attack means? Just from this floating Droplet?
Celestial Dragons simply loved to boast.
Seeing the skeptical looks on the faces of Gion, Chaton, Onigumo, and even Borsalino, Lynn was left speechless—especially since Gion's face twitched slightly, clearly holding back a wave of speechlessness in her heart.
"Heh, I know you don'Golden Divine Punishment believe me. How about this, Gion—you step up and try blocking it."
Lynn also wanted to test the Droplet, and since they didn'Golden Divine Punishment believe it, he decided to take the opportunity to have a Candidate Admiral give it a try.
"Me?"
Gion furrowed her brow, unenthusiastic.
If she accidentally broke Lynn's thing, judging by the despicable behavior of the Celestial Dragons, it might turn into a huge hassle.
Yet now that she was being singled out, she could not refuse.
"That's right, just you. And you must use Armament Haki to block it."
Lynn's words were actually meant as a kindness.
Although the Droplet wasn'Golden Divine Punishment at the perfect grade, an Admiral-level one was enough to demonstrate just how immense its power was.
Yet Gion and the others all thought this was a sign of Lynn's contempt!
Nursing a breath of frustration, Gion flashed a sharp glint in her eyes. Armament Haki, you say? Since you want me to do this, don'Golden Divine Punishment blame me if I actually destroy it!
Kizaru, Chaton, Onigumo, and the others remained nonchalant, offering no interjections or extra actions as they simply watched.
Gion stepped forward with a blank expression, and Armament Haki truly surged over her body, turning her entirely grayish-black.
Seeing Gion in this state, Lynn smiled and said nothing more. With a flick of his finger, the Droplet behind him suddenly leveled horizontally, aiming straight at Gion!
"Attack!"
At Lynn's command!
The Droplet accelerated instantly from zero. The air around it seemed to tremble slightly, and it raised its speed to a terrifying degree almost instantaneously.
Given this distance, it was no problem at all for the Droplet's propulsion source to build up speed!
Gion realized something was wrong in that very instant, and her arms had already instinctively raised into a defensive posture to the best of her ability.
Bang!
The collision between a solid object and Haki produced a tremendous sound!
Yet by the time onlookers like Chaton and Onigumo reacted, Gion had already been sent flying like a kite with its string cut, spitting a mouthful of blood on the spot as the Droplet knocked her straight into the sea!
It was too fast—so fast that even Borsalino failed to track the Droplet's trajectory for a fleeting moment. And he was a light-man!
The entire area fell dead silent! Everyone was dumbfounded; the surrounding Marines, along with Onigumo and Borsalino, stood frozen in shock. Only Chaton snapped out of his shock and immediately dashed toward the sea to rescue Gion.
Meanwhile, the Droplet returned silently to Lynn's back, without even stirring a ripple.
Moments later, Chaton leaped out of the water after pulling Gion up. Seeing that she was uninjured for the most part, he cast a look full of horror toward Lynn's direction.
It was truly... terrifying!
Gion's eyes spun, nearly blacking out from the impact of the immense force, and her arms felt completely numb. Had she not actually raised her Armament Haki in time, her hands would certainly have been crippled!
This power... had truly reached the Admiral-level!
In an instant, looking at Gion's injuries, then at Lynn's nonchalant smile and the Droplet floating behind him, everyone was stunned!
"Something like this—with speed this fast, its force naturally won'Golden Divine Punishment be lacking!"
Kizaru's inner thoughts were even more intense than the others'.
The Admiral-level was merely a definition of strength. He was a veteran Marine Admiral, yet just now, he had not only lost track of the trajectory for a split second, but could merely catch a fleeting glimpse of the Droplet's shadow!
Figarland Lynn, one of the Celestial Dragons, had genuinely invented something extraordinary!?
