This Droplet Was Way Too Hard!

"What exactly was this Droplet!?"

Even Kizaru, Borsalino, felt a chill run through him.

To them, it was truly rather bizarre.

Who would have thought that Gion had taken quite a beating? Before she had even caught her breath, Lynn turned his gaze toward Kizaru and said with a smile, "Admiral Kizaru is curious? Then why not give it a try too?"

"Y-you want the Admiral to block it!?"

Onigumo and Chaton were both stunned. Seeing that even Gion had been sent flying without any ability to resist, they could not say anything.

It was said to possess Admiral-level attack power, but could it really threaten an Admiral?

"I'd rather not try it..."

Kizaru had no interest in this droplet-shaped object, but he also knew it would not be easy to deal with.

Yet before he could finish his polite refusal, the Droplet lightly shook the air again!

Kizaru was a Logia user, light itself, yet the Droplet seemed to possess an effect similar to Armament Haki. Its absolutely smooth surface could carry kinetic force to a certain degree and strike a Logia body, dealing damage.

Lynn wondered whether Kizaru had instinctively transformed into light to evade it, or whether he had sensed that it could collide with him.

With that faint question in mind, Lynn shifted his thoughts slightly and moved a finger.

Having avoided the Droplet's impact, Kizaru hovered in the air with his hands in his pockets. He turned to look at the Droplet flying away, about to say something.

The next moment, the Droplet made a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn!

It was an eerie turn that defied the laws of physics. Without losing any speed, it continued charging toward Kizaru just as swiftly as before!

Its attack speed was so fast that Chaton, Onigumo, Gion, and the others below could not even see how it had changed direction.

Kizaru, too, showed a rare trace of solemnity in his eyes due to the Droplet's incredible attack speed!

"How surprising..."

He flashed into light again and used his elemental advantage to evade it once more, but the Droplet immediately made a sharp turn behind him and nearly crashed into him.

"That's unreasonable. It's as unreasonable as my light."

Kizaru's light was also extremely fast. In a straight-line race, even the Droplet could not keep up with it.

But for a turn at such an angle, even Kizaru, a veteran Pika Pika no Mi user, had to use Yata no Kagami to achieve it.

Thus, by the narrowest margin, Kizaru's entire body glowed with dazzling light as he barely evaded the Droplet's redirected charge.

Below, Gion, Chaton, Onigumo, the other Marine officers and soldiers, and the CP agents were all utterly stunned, their eyes trembling.

Watching the scene, Lynn nodded in satisfaction.

However, after being attacked three times in a row, Kizaru finally grew serious and began trying to counterattack the Droplet.

"If it gets damaged, don't blame me."

As the Droplet turned to attack again, Kizaru murmured to himself in midair. He raised a finger and fired a laser directly at it!

Under the blinding light, Gion and the others could not help narrowing their eyes, staring intently to see how much damage Kizaru's attack would inflict on the Droplet.

But then, a scene beyond everyone's expectations appeared.

Kizaru's laser struck the Droplet's surface, yet like light reflecting off a mirror, it was directly refracted into multiple beams!

The Droplet was completely unaffected. Kizaru's light could not penetrate its defenses at all!

Some of the scattered, refracted beams shot into the sky, while others blasted toward the ground. A few nearly hit Gion and Chaton, exploding in light and heat on the ground and forcing the two to hurriedly retreat.

"It can do that too!?"

Even Kizaru's easygoing mindset took a hit at that moment. He focused on the Droplet and transformed into light to dodge to the side!

Then, the ball of light gathered into human form. His long leg shone brightly as it kicked at the Droplet flying past from the side!

"Speed of Light Kick!"

Speed was power! Kizaru had even intended to kick the Droplet straight to the ground, so he put tremendous force into this kick.

Boom!

Flames erupted!

Everyone looked up, their mouths falling open in shock.

This was an Admiral's strength. Even a casual kick could cause such a violent explosion. That Droplet should not be able to withstand it, right!?

To everyone's utter disbelief, the Droplet did not fall. Instead, Kizaru himself tumbled through the air and nearly crashed down!

After stabilizing himself, Kizaru's old face was burning. Behind his sunglasses, his eyes were wide as he stared at the utterly unharmed Droplet!

In truth, he had nearly broken his own foot with that kick! It throbbed with pain and trembled slightly.

This thing was too hard! Inconceivably hard!

Gion, Onigumo, and Chaton were even more dumbfounded, all wearing expressions of utter disbelief.

With their strength, they could naturally tell that Kizaru had actually come out worse from that Speed of Light Kick!

"Impossible. Was something like this really created single-handedly by a Celestial Dragon?"

The three were so shocked that it was as though their understanding of the world had been overturned.

Anyone in their position would probably begin questioning life itself.

The Celestial Dragons, World Nobles who were criticized yet enjoyed everything the world had to offer, had truly created through technology a superpowered object capable of making even an Admiral suffer?

"Alright, that's enough. Come back, Admiral Kizaru."

Lynn had watched the entire process. He was not surprised in the slightest by the Droplet's performance and was very satisfied with his results.

The Admiral-level Droplet had been created by him without any flaws!

Hearing Lynn call a halt, Kizaru could not help letting out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he was not being asked to fight until the end, or he truly would have made a fool of himself.

Honestly, this Droplet had put Kizaru under pressure. At the very least, this test had completely proven how formidable it was, and they had not even found its limits yet!

The Droplet then flew directly back behind Lynn. It contained a receiver controlled by Lynn's will and could execute his intended movements very well.

However, everyone else's gaze toward Lynn had completely changed.
