Background

Stussy is an artificial human created through Vegapunk’s cloning technology. Unlike ordinary clones, she possesses a normal lifespan, complete emotions, and the capacity to bear children. After MADS disbanded, Cipher Pol acquired her and trained her for a future role consolidating underworld pleasure districts while supplying the World Government with intelligence. Her original loyalty centered on Vegapunk, whom she regarded as her creator. 67

Saint Saturn selected her to infiltrate Eos Lucas after the Gorosei concluded that controlling Lucas was preferable to killing him and risking the Vampire-Vampire Fruit’s unpredictable reincarnation. Guernica expanded the assignment: she was to become Lucas’s mistress or wife, enter the Eternal Financial Group, and use its resources to establish the World Government’s Pleasure District. 66 67
