Arc 3The Resident Evil Outbreak

Leon traveled to the Resident Evil world, helped Raccoon City’s survivors develop vaccines and escape the outbreak, then returned to find the world overwhelmed by a new virus and nuclear threats. He brought Tony back with him and began planning to stop the imminent destruction and strengthen humanity.

  • Natasha freed more than two hundred Widows agents, and Leon destroyed their files before masked intruders attacked Stark Mansion and delivered Wenwu’s threat to Tony.
  • Leon warned Tony about Wenwu and revealed Howard’s New Element, then traveled alone to the Resident Evil world while Tony stayed behind to upgrade his reactor.
  • Leon arrived in Raccoon City, saved Jill and Carlos from Nemesis, and destroyed the Tyrant before investigating Umbrella’s outbreak.
  • Leon obtained vaccine research and samples from Bard, rescued survivors at the police station, and led the group into Umbrella’s underground laboratory to develop treatments.
  • Leon killed William Birkin, developed T-virus treatments and Anti-virus Bombs, and helped the survivors rescue thousands before returning to the Marvel world.
  • Tony theorized that Leon could choose when to return to a world, while Leon recruited Natasha’s help to obtain an Extremis sample and then brought Tony and the mansion to the Resident Evil world’s future.
  • JARVIS explained that Hunk’s infection had sparked a global catastrophe, with Wesker spreading the Ascension Virus and nuclear strikes imminent, while Jill survived Leon’s virus solution and gained enhanced strength.
  • Leon reunited with Jill, Sherry, Ada Wong, Bard, and the survivors, then decided to destroy the incoming missile and Super Zombies and develop an S-virus to make ordinary people superhuman.

Ch. 51Half a Month

Leon completed his strength-limit experiment and learned that his one-armed force could reach about two million tons, while Tony continued working on his company and JARVIS. The chapter ended with Leon warning Tony that masked intruders had entered Stark Mansion, and the two prepared to deal with them.

  • Natasha freed more than two hundred Widows agents, most of whom chose to join Leon’s future organization, while Leon destroyed their files.
  • Tony calculated Leon’s strength ceiling at about two million tons with one arm and identified one million tons as his peak growth period.
  • Leon considered seeking more power through Kamar-Taj, Kunlun, and travel to other worlds.
  • A group of masked intruders infiltrated Stark Mansion and entered Tony’s bedroom, only to find him absent.
  • Leon returned from space to the laboratory, warned Tony about the intruders, and urged him to finish upgrading JARVIS before they confronted the attackers.

Ch. 52Death Notice from the Ten-Ring Gang

Tony and Leon discovered that the Ten Rings were only imitators of Wenwu’s Ten-Ring Gang after surviving an assassination attempt and reading Wenwu’s death notice. Leon prepared to attack the gang immediately, but Tony persuaded him to let Iron Man investigate and confront Wenwu; Tony was left troubled by his inability to protect Leon.

  • Tony put on his armor and killed the assassins who attacked the villa while Leon followed upstairs.
  • The last assassin handed Tony and Leon a letter before killing himself.
  • Tony and Leon read Wenwu’s letter, which revealed that he led the Ten-Ring Gang and would come to kill Tony in one month.
  • Leon erupted in anger and vowed to destroy the Ten-Ring Gang before sunrise, but Tony stopped him and insisted on handling the threat himself.
  • Tony recalled promising to protect Leon after their parents died and felt guilty that he could no longer keep that promise.

Ch. 53New Element

Leon explained that Tony was no match for Wenwu and the Ten-Ring Gang, then revealed Howard had left behind plans for a New Element that could improve Tony’s armor. As Leon considered traveling to another world to find a way to heal Tony’s chest wound, he decided to set off.

  • Leon told Tony about Wenwu’s thousand-year life and the Ten Rings’ power, and warned that Tony could not defeat him with his current armor and Palladium Arc Reactor.
  • Tony insisted on facing the Ten-Ring Gang himself, while Leon told him to upgrade his armor and heal the wound in his chest.
  • Leon revealed that Howard had developed a New Element compatible with the Arc Generator and directed Tony to Stark Industries Park and the files at S.H.I.E.L.D.
  • Tony agreed to seek the New Element and fight the Ten-Ring Gang, despite Leon’s prediction that he would lose.
  • Leon considered using his world-traveling ability to find a world with advanced medical technology that could heal Tony and help him grow stronger.

Ch. 54Traveling Between Worlds

Leon prepared to travel to another world, while Tony equipped him with supplies and recorded the experiment. Leon anchored a destination and began the journey, leaving his friends behind as a pulling force enveloped him.

  • An invisible wave enhanced Leon’s brain, and a mysterious message made him suspect the Resident Evil World was asking for help.
  • A violent explosion on a nearby rooftop interrupted Leon’s deliberations.

Ch. 56Jill Valentine

Leon identified the scene as Raccoon City near Redstone Station on September 28, 1998, where Jill Valentine was being pursued by Nemesis. After rescuing Jill from an explosion, he faced the burning Tyrant with her.

  • Leon recognized Jill Valentine and Nemesis near Redstone Station and told JARVIS to investigate Umbrella Corporation, the United States military, and HCF.
  • Jill crawled out of the wrecked car and warned Leon to get to safety as the car caught fire.
  • Leon grabbed Jill and moved her more than ten meters away before the exploding car could engulf her.
  • Nemesis emerged from the flames and hurled half a car at Leon and Jill, but Leon caught it.
  • Jill stood beside Leon and asked whether he could defeat Nemesis.

Ch. 57Nemesis (Tyrant)

Carlos rescued Jill and the mech warrior from the Tyrant and urged them to escape to an Umbrella shelter, but the mech warrior stayed behind to fight. After surviving multiple attacks and mutating into a larger form, the Tyrant was destroyed by the mech warrior’s missiles, though Jill watched in amazement.

  • Carlos fired two rockets at the Tyrant, then introduced himself and offered to escort Jill and the mech warrior to an Umbrella shelter.
  • Jill angrily accused Umbrella of causing the outbreak, while Carlos insisted that the subway was the only way out of the city.
  • The Tyrant rose again, and the mech warrior flew into the air and pierced its chest with energy beams.
  • The Tyrant transformed into a larger, clawed creature, and the mech warrior launched tracking missiles that battered it until it stopped moving.
  • Jill watched the mech warrior and marveled at his firepower.

Ch. 58Interpreting the Plea for Help

Leon interpreted the World Consciousness's plea as a request to help evolve life and decided to investigate the Raccoon City crisis, including the T-virus serum and Umbrella's G-virus. Jill and Carlos approached him and asked who he was.

  • Leon reviewed the origins and properties of the viruses, parasites, and fungi in the Resident Evil world.
  • Leon concluded that the World Consciousness might want him to promote the evolution of life and suspected greater rewards awaited him.
  • Leon planned to reverse-engineer a cure from T-virus serum in the hospital and obtain the G-virus from Umbrella's underground laboratory.

  • Carlos praised Leon for defeating the Tyrant and marveled at his armor.

Ch. 59Three-Stage Tyrant

Leon Stark met Jill and Carlos, warned them that zombies were closing in, and headed for Raccoon City Hospital and the police station. The Tyrant revived and absorbed nearby zombies into a huge mass, leaving Leon to face it as Jill and Carlos watched.

  • Leon told Jill and Carlos he came from another world to help save theirs, then floated away using his Biological Force Field.
  • Leon directed Jill and Carlos toward the subway station and said they could find him at the police station's underground Umbrella laboratory if they needed serum.
  • Leon noticed black threads spreading from the Tyrant's remains and identified the creature as still alive.
  • The Tyrant absorbed nearby zombies and grew into a massive leech-like form that blocked Jill and Carlos's path.
  • Jill asked Leon for help, and he told her to stand back before she turned to see a sight she would never forget.

Ch. 60Leveled to the Ground

Leon revealed that his armor was only a seal, then destroyed the third-stage Tyrant and much of the surrounding city with two punches. He left Jill and Carlos to gather civilians and headed for Raccoon City Hospital, while Jill and Carlos continued toward the subway station.

  • Leon removed his armor and flew into the air, shocking Jill and Carlos.
  • The Tyrant transformed into its third stage and attacked Leon with a roar and a mass of tentacles.

  • Leon apologized to Jill and Carlos for the damage, told them to gather civilians, and flew off with JARVIS toward Raccoon City Hospital.
  • Jill decided to accompany Carlos to the subway station and keep watch over him as debris began falling across the city.

Ch. 61Hospital

Leon entered Raccoon City Hospital to find Director Nathaniel Bard, obtain the original T-virus sample, vaccine samples, and research data, and help save the city. After proving his strength and telling Bard he came from another world at the request of the World Consciousness, Leon persuaded him to show the printed research materials.

  • Leon heard Nathaniel Bard's recording confessing Umbrella's role in the T-virus outbreak and scanned the hospital, finding Bard as its only living person.
  • Leon entered the hospital, left JARVIS to deal with the zombies, and punched Hunter β and an iron door through the wall outside Bard's laboratory.
  • Leon asked Bard for the T-virus sample, vaccine samples, and research data, then said he was from another world and had come at the World Consciousness's request.
  • Leon blasted a hole through a wall with his breath, convincing Bard to believe his story and eagerly ask about other worlds and the World Consciousness.
  • Leon asked Bard to show him the research, and Bard agreed to take him to the printed materials he had planned to burn.

Ch. 62Outside the Police Station

Leon memorized Umbrella’s experimental documents in seconds, recognized that his research talent had been enhanced, and set off with JARVIS and Director Bard for the Raccoon City Police Department. After surveying the station, Leon killed Chief Brian Irons and arrived above the entrance with Bard as JARVIS caught up.

  • Leon rapidly memorized the experimental documents, discovered his biochemical research talent had improved, and told Director Bard to burn the papers.
  • Leon collected T-virus stock solution and vaccine samples, then flew with JARVIS and Director Bard to the Raccoon City Police Department.
  • Leon used X-Ray Vision to survey the station and found only five survivors, including Chief Brian Irons.
  • Leon killed Chief Brian Irons with Heat Vision while Irons was handling the mayor’s daughter’s corpse.
  • JARVIS arrived beside Leon, and Director Bard realized they had reached the police station.

Ch. 63The Last Four

Leon and Director Bard reached the Raccoon City police station, where they met Marvin Branagh and two other officers and explained the outbreak and Leon’s powers. The officers tentatively trusted them, and Marvin asked Bard to examine an ill person inside the station.

  • Leon froze the streets and zombies around the police station, then shattered the iceberg blocking its gate.
  • Leon and Bard reached the station, and Leon leaped over the gate when the frozen bolt would not open.
  • JARVIS flew into the courtyard, startling Marvin Branagh and the two officers with him.
  • Leon and Bard explained that Umbrella Corporation caused the crisis, and Leon demonstrated Freeze Breath to earn the officers’ tentative trust.
  • Marvin introduced Elliot Edward and Fatty, then asked Bard to examine a sick person behind a medical partition.

Ch. 64Three Survivors

Leon and Bard uncovered the police station’s secret entrance to an Umbrella laboratory and used antiviral serum to save Brad Vickers and Kendo’s infected daughter. After Marvin’s team found three survivors, Leon led Bard and JARVIS into the underground passage to make a more effective vaccine.

  • Bard identified Brad Vickers as recently infected, and Leon supplied serum that began to restore him.
  • Leon revealed the Umbrella laboratory beneath the Statue of Liberty sculpture and smashed open its hidden entrance.
  • Leon sent Marvin and the other officers to search for survivors while JARVIS cleared zombies from the station.
  • Marvin’s team returned with Robert Kendo, his daughter Emma, and FBI agent Ada Wong.
  • JARVIS injected Emma with serum, and her eyes began returning to normal.
  • Leon, Bard, and JARVIS entered the underground laboratory to develop a new vaccine.

Ch. 65Ada Wong

Ada Wong followed Leon and the others into the underground facility, probing him while he led the group toward Umbrella Research Institute. The group reached the sewers, where Ada reluctantly joined them in the filthy water.

  • Marvin left Old Fatty behind to guard the survivors and led Elliot toward the underground passage.
  • Ada Wong slipped into the passage after Marvin and Elliot, while Old Fatty decided not to chase her.
  • Leon, Ada Wong, Director Bard, Marvin, and Elliot descended in the elevator, where Ada questioned Leon and Bard about his abilities.
  • Leon forced open locked doors and froze zombies as he led the group down to the sewers beneath the police station.
  • Leon flew above the sewage while Marvin and the others waded through it, and Ada Wong sighed before jumping in after them.

Ch. 66Blazing a Trail

Leon led the group through the sewer to a cable car bound for Umbrella's research facility, defeating the mutants and overcoming obstacles with ease. Annette Birkin ambushed them in the monitoring room but was captured, and the group discovered they needed her authorization wristband to operate the cable car.

  • Leon guided the group through the mutant-infested sewers, protecting them from attacks and clearing their path.
  • Leon saved Ada Wong from a giant insect, then tore down the locked monitoring-room door before she could pick its lock.
  • Annette Birkin emerged from hiding and warned the group to leave, while Ada accused her of creating the virus and demanded the G-virus.
  • Annette threw a grenade and shot at Ada, but Leon caught the grenade unharmed, pulled Ada clear, and had Marvin restrain Annette.
  • The group reached the cable car, learned it required a staff authorization wristband, and Ada urged them to interrogate Annette rather than force the door.

Ch. 67You Knew Nothing of His Power

Leon led the group through Umbrella’s underground laboratory, where JARVIS cleared the infected and found Sherry being chased by William Birkin. Annette tried to kill Sherry to prevent the G-virus from spreading, but Leon went to confront William.

  • Leon used JARVIS to open the cable car and lead the group into the underground laboratory, promising to develop a vaccine by morning.
  • JARVIS opened the laboratory’s security gates, and Leon sent it to eliminate the creatures while the group searched researchers’ diaries about the outbreak.
  • JARVIS reported a Tyrant-like creature chasing a little girl, and Leon recognized her as Sherry Birkin and ordered JARVIS to bring her back with the monster.
  • JARVIS returned with Sherry, and Annette reunited with her daughter before suddenly taking Ada’s gun and trying to shoot Sherry.
  • Ada subdued Annette, who explained that she feared William would infect Sherry and spread the G-virus; Leon said he would stop William and walked toward the monster.

Ch. 68Vaccine Research

Leon killed William Birkin, then worked with the survivors to develop an airborne T-virus vaccine and serum, along with a G-virus treatment. With the vaccines ready for mass production, Leon began his own research.

  • Leon killed William Birkin and burned his body to ash, after which Annette retrieved some of the remains and went into the laboratory, where a gunshot rang out.
  • Leon assigned Marvin, Elliot, Bard, Sherry, and JARVIS tasks to gather resources and prepare vaccine research, while Ada Wong left after Leon offered her a job.
  • Jill Valentine left the subway station to find Stark and help save Raccoon City, despite Carlos urging her to leave with the others.
  • Leon developed an airborne T-virus vaccine and serum, and tests showed they worked on lab mice and could protect a thirty-meter radius for up to half an hour.
  • Leon ordered the survivors to mass-produce the T-virus treatments and gave Bard a new G-virus serum to test before beginning his own research.

Ch. 69S-Virus and Returning to the Police Station

Leon developed the Prototype S-virus but destroyed all traces after an experiment with his Kryptonian blood nearly created a dangerous airborne infection. He returned to the police station with vaccines and Anti-virus Bombs, ready to help save Raccoon City, while Sherry found someone she could rely on.

  • Leon synthesized the Prototype S-virus, which could turn infected people into powerful zombies or enhance survivors, but found it unsuitable for treating Tony.
  • Leon’s Kryptonian blood absorbed the S-virus and began reproducing uncontrollably, so he destroyed the experiment and secured the sole remaining sample.
  • Bard reported that the G-virus serum cured recent infections and that enough T-virus vaccine and serum had been made for Raccoon City, along with more than five hundred Anti-virus Bombs.
  • Marvin and Elliot left with JARVIS to prepare the bombs, while Ada asked Leon for a long-term job and he hired her on the condition that he first earn legitimate income.
  • Leon and the others carried vaccines and bombs back to the police station, where survivors gathered and Kendo thanked Leon for helping his daughter Emma.
  • Sherry asked Leon to protect her, and he promised he would.

Ch. 70Saving the City and Saying Goodbye

Leon and the survivors rescued Raccoon City by freezing zombies and spreading vaccines and serum. After warning them about Umbrella and promising to return, Leon traveled back to his own world, leaving JARVIS behind to help.

  • Jill thanked Leon for saving Brad, then joined the others in preparing to rescue Raccoon City's survivors.
  • Leon, JARVIS, and the armed squads spread vaccines and anti-virus bombs while Leon froze the city's outer streets, killing the exposed zombies.
  • The rescue plan succeeded, and thousands of survivors gathered at the police station to celebrate and thank Leon.
  • Leon told Marvin, Jill, and the others that he would return after testing the time difference between worlds, and warned them to prepare for evacuation and expose Umbrella's crimes.
  • Leon said goodbye to the survivors, left JARVIS to assist them, and traveled back to the Marvel world.
  • Marvin and Elliot remembered that a police recruit named Leon S. Kennedy had also been due to arrive the previous day.

Ch. 71Return and Time Differences

Leon returned to Stark Mansion after twelve hours in the Resident Evil world and told Tony about his trip. Tony reasoned that traveling between worlds might let Leon choose when he reappeared in time, and Leon prepared to test the idea again while Tony asked to go along.

  • Leon returned to the basement, where JARVIS explained that only twelve hours and thirty-seven minutes had passed and Tony had repeatedly asked about him before falling asleep.
  • Tony greeted Leon and learned that he had left his armor behind in the Resident Evil world; Leon then summarized his journey and the virus threat.
  • Tony used an analogy about space and gravity to suggest that Leon traveled between points in time when crossing worlds and could choose his return point at an energy cost.
  • Leon prepared to cross over again to test Tony's theory, but Tony asked to accompany him.
  • Leon noticed Tony's new reactor and learned that Tony had synthesized a new element called Badassium two hours after Leon left.

Ch. 72Extremis Virus

Leon obtained an Extremis virus sample and research records from Natasha, intending to study them for his S-virus research. He then joined Tony in the Stark Mansion basement and began preparing to travel to another world.

  • Leon called Natasha and asked her to obtain a sample of the Extremis virus from Advanced Idea Mechanics.
  • Natasha brought Leon to a former Red Room safe house in Tennessee and gave him the virus reagent and a USB drive.
  • Leon and Natasha discussed the virus's potential and its side effects, then spent time together before he left.
  • Natasha told Leon that Advanced Idea Mechanics was kidnapping beggars for human experiments, and Leon agreed to let her take action against the organization.
  • Leon returned to Stark Mansion with the sample and explained the Extremis virus to Tony.
  • Leon placed a Biological Force Field around Tony and began searching for a world to travel to.

Ch. 73World Upheaval

After thirty days in the Resident Evil world had passed, Leon and Tony traveled there and found the world engulfed in war. The World Consciousness gave Tony a biological compatibility enhancement and begged Leon to save the world, while JARVIS began explaining what had happened.

  • Leon learned that he could travel to the future of the Resident Evil world, brought Tony and the Stark mansion along, and set their destination thirty days after his departure.
  • Leon and Tony arrived in a rainforest on October 29, and Tony woke after the armor's systems had shut down during the journey.
  • Leon heard signs of war and suffering across the world, then learned from the World Consciousness that the world was nearing a loss of control and needed his help.
  • The World Consciousness's gift could not merge with Leon, so Leon had it modify Tony to accept and fuse Resident Evil-related biological factors.
  • Leon and Tony took flight, and JARVIS greeted Leon before saying that many things had happened while he was gone.

Ch. 74Destroying the World in Thirty Days

JARVIS explained how an infected rat carried Leon’s Prototype S-virus from Raccoon City to Hunk, triggering a global zombie apocalypse and nuclear crisis. Leon realized the World Consciousness had deliberately spread the virus to force evolution and decided to go to Raccoon City.

  • JARVIS recounted how survivors escaped Raccoon City, then Ada Wong exposed Umbrella’s crimes while hiding with Sherry and Bard.
  • JARVIS revealed that an infected rat bit Hunk, who transformed at Umbrella’s New York branch and sparked a catastrophic outbreak.
  • Umbrella’s Albert Wesker seized control, spread the Ascension Virus worldwide, and helped drive nations into collapse and nuclear conflict.
  • Jill and Marvin’s group reunited in Raccoon City, and Jill survived injecting Leon’s original virus solution, becoming stronger than ordinary superhumans.
  • JARVIS reported that the old United States government and Russia planned imminent nuclear strikes, with five hours remaining.
  • Leon concluded that the World Consciousness had caused the outbreak and decided to travel to Raccoon City with Tony.

Ch. 75Authority, Gene Self-Locking

Leon returned to Raccoon City, reunited with its survivors, and promised to save the world in exchange for the World Consciousness’s rewards. After hearing about the nuclear threat, Super Zombies, and the worldwide zombie crisis, he proposed creating a new S-virus to turn ordinary people into superhumans.

  • Leon arrived in Raccoon City and reunited with Sherry, Jill, Ada Wong, Bard, and the other survivors.
  • Leon told the group he could save the world, seeking the World Consciousness’s offer of half the world’s authority and the Gene Self-Locking Ability.
  • Leon introduced Tony Stark to the survivors, who praised Tony as Leon’s brother.
  • Jill briefed Leon on the Russian nuclear missile, the growing number of zombies, and the Super Zombies threatening Raccoon City.
  • Leon decided to destroy the missile and kill the Super Zombies before nightfall, then proposed developing a new S-virus to make ordinary people superhuman.
