Spatial Corridor

Because the energy of the spatial blockade had been strengthened, Odin's fleet took over an hour to tear open a spatial rift.

The next second, hundreds of drones vanished into space.

They had clearly all entered spatial jumps instantly to scout the way ahead.

More than ten minutes later.

Aboard the flagship, Odin watched the projections in midair as the points of light representing those drones disappeared one after another during their spatial jumps.

Even the few lucky enough to reach their destination vanished before they could send any images back.

Odin's expression darkened further.

The enemy clearly had the ability to destroy warships in the middle of spatial jumps, and their defenses were so thorough that not a single drone had survived.

Spatial jump technology was the most important and critical step for intelligent life to venture into the universe.

But this technology did not mean opening a spatial rift and then having everyone swarm through it.

A Fixed Star's diameter could be as small as several billion kilometers or as large as several trillion kilometers.

At such distances, traveling at only the speed of light would probably take years.

And since spatial jumps were unsuitable within a Fixed Star due to their enormous energy consumption, the more economical Spatial Corridor became the preferred choice.

A Spatial Corridor used powerful energy to lightly compress space, forming an area where distance was shortened, like shrinking the earth into inches.

The spacecraft still traveled at sublight speed, yet achieved the effect of faster-than-light travel.

However, this technology was highly advanced. Odin probably did not have it yet.

More than half an hour later, Thanos's fleet arrived at the destination.

There, he saw a pitch-black expanse of space without a trace of starlight.

The spatial rifts were opening, blocking even the starlight from view.

Little Blue, with its extremely high intelligence, began issuing various orders without even needing Thanos's command.

"Destination reached. Stop the Spatial Corridor and exit faster-than-light travel."

"Raise all Spaceship shields to full power."

“Engine at full power.”

"Begin charging the primary and secondary laser cannons."

"Begin deploying space mines and spatial bombs."

"Prepare to deploy Interstellar Behemoth."

"Prepare the Black Order for deployment."

"Prepare the fighters for operation."

As order after order was issued, the massive fleet began to move.

The Escort Ships lit up their shields one after another, the attack ships began charging their primary and secondary cannons, the support ships began deploying space mines and spatial bombs, while the carrier ships deployed Interstellar Behemoth and the Black Order, and the fighters started their Engines one after another.

Interstellar Behemoth was the flying monster that looked somewhat like a whale in the movies.

Unlike on the Planet, where they could only serve as transport craft, Interstellar Behemoth were powerful mobile firepower in space. They were agile and nowhere near as clumsy as they appeared in the movies.

With all battle preparations deployed, Thanos stopped cultivating and quietly waited for the enemy to arrive.

He hoped this time, he could have a truly satisfying fight.
