Frost Giants

Odin felt a surge of joy in his heart when he saw the spaceship appearing behind him.

Two days ago, upon learning that the enemy was coming and just to be safe, he had sought reinforcements from the Frost Giants.

He even promised to return Proton and Loki once it was over.

Of course, since he now thought Loki was dead, he never intended to fulfill that promise.

Once Thanos was dealt with, he could mold the Frost Giants however he pleased.

A moment later, Laufey's projection appeared before Odin.

"I hope you keep your word."

To be honest, he really didn't want to come.

Yet, with his son in Odin's hands, he had no choice but to tread carefully.

After all, he only had one son, and he still wanted him to inherit his Frost Kingdom.

Hearing this, Odin just gave a faint smile and said with confidence, "Don't you worry, Loki is right in my palace right now, safe and sound.

As long as you help me repel the enemy, I will return Loki to you."

Laufey nodded and said, "Fine!"

Soon, over a thousand spaceships radiating frost circled around and launched an attack on the right flank of the enemy fleet.

The reason for the right flank was naturally because Heimdall was there, and it was not as disadvantaged as the left.

If he could assist Heimdall in crushing the enemy and then outflank them from the right, this war would be secure.

With his early Skyfather-level strength, he quickly destroyed a dozen enemy spaceships, pushing Supergiant, Cull Obsidian, and Ebony Maw back step by step.

That's right, Laufey possessed Skyfather-level strength, and even though it was early-stage, he could still crush everyone present.

If not for his reluctance to deliver a fatal blow, the Black Order probably would have been reduced to the Black Two today.

So he immediately had Little Blue start connecting himself with the large spaceships on the front line.

Then, using a projection, he made himself appear before Laufey.

At this moment, Laufey was using his fists to strike the defensive shield of an escort ship, blow by blow.

Upon seeing the projection of a purple big guy, he stopped his attack and looked at the other curiously.

Of course he didn't know Thanos, but he had only come to help for the sake of his son, having no real intention of fighting to the death for Odin.

"Who are you?"

Thanos shook his head and said calmly, "Who I am doesn't matter. The important thing is who you are."

Hearing this, Laufey immediately narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "I am Laufey, leader of the Frost Giants!"

Thanos nodded and said, "Laufey, is it? I seem to have caught a little fellow named Loki last year. He should be your son, and he really looks quite a bit like you."

They were still in the middle of a war, so he cut straight to the point.

Your son is in my hands. If you don't want him to die, you'd better obey.

Upon hearing this, Laufey immediately wore a look of utter disbelief.

"What? Loki is in your hands? How is that possible?"

Seeing this, Thanos understood in his heart that the other probably didn't know yet that Odin had thrown Loki into a wormhole.

So he spoke up, "A year ago, my subordinates discovered Loki coming out of a suddenly opened wormhole, which is how I was able to come to this galaxy through the wormhole."

Hearing this, Laufey staggered back a few steps, muttering incessantly to himself, "How dare he... How could he do this to my son..."

Seeing this, Thanos said coldly, "If you retreat now, I will let you reunite with your son in a day."

Laufey raised his head, glared fixedly at Thanos, and said coldly, "I am going to verify what you said right now. If you are lying to me, don't blame me for showing no mercy!"

With that, he flew back to his flagship and left the battlefield with over a thousand spaceships.

Seeing this, Thanos merely shook his head in disdain.

If Odin hadn't been holding him back, he would have already beaten the fellow until he registered thirty-six point seven degrees.

On the other side.

After Laufey retreated with the spaceships, Odin's projection immediately appeared before him and began to interrogate him.

"What is the meaning of this? Why did you pull back!"

Looking at the Odin before him, Laufey felt boundless anger rise in his heart.

The planet of their Frost Giants race, named Jotunheim, was a very desolate world filled with ice and snow, entirely unsuited for the development of life.

Thus, he led his people out of Jotunheim to multiply and survive on other planets.

Originally, everything was going smoothly until one day Odin arrived with Asgardian warriors.

He snatched away his divine artifact, the Casket of Ancient Winters, and abducted his son.

They were once again banished back to Jotunheim to eke out a meager existence.

If not for Odin, he probably would have become the overlord of the Milky Way by now.

Yet, no matter how furious he felt, in the next second he regained his composure, and then spoke, "The enemy says that my son, Loki, is in his hands."

Hearing this, Odin panicked inwardly.

Still, on the surface, he remained cold as he said, "Are you a fool? You believe whatever the enemy says? Get back to the front lines right now, and I can pretend nothing ever happened!"

Seeing that Odin still had no intention of showing him Loki, Laufey couldn't help but believe Thanos a bit more.

"I want to see if Loki is still in your hands. The moment I see him is the moment I go to the front lines!"

Hearing this, a dark shadow flashed across Odin's eyes.

Even so, he spoke up, "Fine, I will connect to the temple right now and show him to you. Once you've seen him, get yourself to the front lines immediately, or I'll kill him!"
