The shouting grew louder.
Baimu and Concordia exchanged a glance, then passed the scattered Wild Pokémon peering inward and approached the water source.
The water source looked much like a well.
To make it easier for the Wild Pokémon to drink, N had dug a trough running down from it. All a Pokémon had to do was work a contraption resembling a hand pump to draw water.
"Don't do anything rash! Everyone, calm down! What happened?"
Concordia commanded considerable respect among the Wild Pokémon. Her arrival alone made many of those blocking the way slowly move aside.
Some, however, did not budge.
That included Baimu's Aggron and his other Pokémon, along with the Lycanroc confronting them.
Though surrounded by other Pokémon, Aggron and his companions showed no sign of backing down. Mawile, perched on Aggron's shoulder, looked down on every Pokémon outside their group.

The fiercely wild Lycanroc took that look as a challenge and bared their sharp fangs.
Hydreigon glared back, all three mouths opening to roar—

Both humans spoke at once.
Concordia looked at Aggron and the others, whose heavy breathing carried an undercurrent of danger, and urged, "Let's talk this through. There's no need to fight!"
Like her unrelated younger brother N in the animated series, she could understand the hearts of Pokémon.
So Concordia knew that although Aggron appeared unresponsive, he might charge the Lycanroc at any moment.
"Baimu, please talk to your Pokémon. Don't let them clash with everyone." She turned to him for help.
Baimu shook his head. "Sorry, Concordia. I have to side with my Pokémon. At most, I'll keep them from striking first. Besides, they're not in the wrong here."
