A short while later.
Blissey finished treating Spectrier.
Baimu immediately recalled Spectrier into its ball and shook out his hand, which the licking had left slightly numb. Though there was no saliva on it, he still had the strange feeling that his hand was about to rot off.
"You're sure it doesn't eat people? I'm pretty sure it was eating me."
How could a horse enjoy licking someone's hand that much? What kind of horse preferred gnawing on people to carrots?
Porygon Phone said, "I haven't detected any changes in your body temperature or blood pressure. Do you feel tired? Sleepy at all?"
"I'm tired every day, but I'm not sleepy."
He spoke in complete earnest.
Porygon Phone ignored his pointed look. "Then it's just your imagination, Baimu. It simply has an odd habit, like Hydreigon."
Hydreigon's odd habit dated back to its days as a young Deino, when it had energy and destructive urges with nowhere to go. Besides gnawing on Baimu's hand, it chewed something to pieces almost every week.
Spectrier...
He couldn't imagine Spectrier as a foal.
Baimu let out his Pokémon, including the Legendary Giants, who had remained in their balls until now.
"Shaaa!"
The moment Hydreigon appeared, it rushed over anxiously, crying out as though staking its claim to the hand that belonged to it.
Naturally, Baimu refused.
Being licked by one Pokémon was disgusting enough. He had a slight obsession with cleanliness and couldn't bear being licked by another.
Besides, Hydreigon's possessiveness was dangerous. Indulging it too much would only make its temper worse and let its wild side run free.
Sometimes he had to rein it in.
A Pokémon needed both instinct and reason to be strong in battle.
"Hold it down for me."
Poor Husky Dragon was immediately pinned down by Blissey
