Of the nine Traitor Primarchs, six had been confirmed to have ascended into Daemon Princes of the Chaos Gods: Angron (Khorne), Mortarion (Nurgle), Fulgrim (Slaanesh), Magnus (Tzeentch), Perturabo (Chaos Undivided), and Lorgar (Chaos Undivided).

Two had died. Horus had been killed by the Emperor, while Curze had been killed by an assassin.

The twin Primarchs of the Alpha Legion, Alpharius and Omegon, were missing and their whereabouts were unknown.
