Lin En ordered the fleet to land at Asphodex, on Baal's forward shield, before leaving Baal.
After leaving Baal's orbit, the fleet did not accelerate directly toward Cretacia. Instead, it stopped at Asphodex first.
Cecilia and Iron Hammer were completely bewildered and asked Lin En why they were going to Asphodex.
Was he planning to drop them off on the way?
Perhaps Lin En had specifically intended to escort them part of the way and would leave them at the naval port.
After all, Lin En probably couldn't bear to part with them either.
