Phoros caught up and fell into step beside Lin En. "My lord," he reported quietly, "we didn't take many casualties. Seven are critically wounded, and a few others have fairly serious injuries. They're all in Stasis Fields."

Lin En nodded.

The medical bay was enormous. The black Stasis Field boxes stood in two silent rows, like iron coffins.

An Apothecary paced beside them, swiping through a Dataslate.

When he saw Lin En approach, he hurried over. "My lord!"

"How are they?"

A few were critically wounded, some had moderate injuries, and most had only minor ones.

The civilians weren't in good shape either.

Many were injured, and some were severely malnourished.

Most could walk on their own.

The medical team was preparing nutrient solutions and medicine. They had enough food and water, but there was little else they could do for now. Once they returned to Bolomite, the civilians could receive proper treatment and recover gradually.

Lin En checked on the unlucky few with critical injuries. None was quite at the point of needing to become a Dreadnought.
