Humans can now control the Tyranids.

The news spread like wildfire throughout the entire Milky Way.

The Aeldari, Orks, and Chaos all know, even the Hrud who are now hiding in the asteroid belt mining for minerals know.

Wherever the news reached, the Xenos there began to suffer from insomnia.

--God, please open your eyes!!!

Why is the world so unfair? Throw that great evil god out of the real world!!!! QAQ

God said I was helpless; I couldn't beat him.

The Necrons, of course, knew as well.

Meanwhile, the Necrons also noticed the unusual activity on the human side and were closely monitoring it.

When one catastrophe joins another... even the Necrons cannot ignore this force.

The Nikzashi Dynasty, Tomb Worlds deep within the folds of space.

Last time, the Phaeron Boulder King of the Nikzashi Dynasty, failed to intercept Lin En and was forced to flee with the entire Tomb Worlds.

However, they didn't actually travel very far. Taking the entire world with them during the jump would consume too much energy. They only traveled less than a light-year, basically still near the Maelstrom.

Amenhotep IX, the successor to the Megalith King, sat on the obsidian throne, tapping the armrests repeatedly as he looked at the several metal skulls standing below.

The Megalith King's misplaced trust in the Aeldari nearly led to the destruction of the Tomb Worlds, prompting his overlords to rebel, arguing that the Megalith King was unworthy of his position.

If the Phaeron makes a mistake, he can be replaced by the nobles below him.

Isn't Storm King a perfect example?

If they win, they too can become the new Storm King.

After a series of struggles, the Megalith King's Memory Engram were destroyed, and he became a lowly mining slave.

Amenhotep IX became the new Phaeron of the Nikzashi Dynasty.

Amenhotep IX tapped the armrest, the clanging sounds echoing through the empty Throne Hall.

He narrowed all three eyes simultaneously, contemplating the current situation.

For sixty million years, he transformed from Necrontyr into Necrons, witnessing the rise and fall of all races in the Milky Way.

The Old Ones and the Aeldari once dominated, and then they decayed.

Orks are intellectually inferior; they can never rule the galaxy.

Imperium has risen.

Humans are as numerous as cockroaches, but they have short lifespans and fear the Warp, making their development hesitant and timid.

Insects swarmed in from outside the Milky Way, attempting to devour the entire Milky Way, but the Milky Way's inhabitants were already saturated and not invincible; their attempt would never succeed.

Only their Necrons remain forever.

The subordinates below dared not utter a sound.

They had previously received information that humans had taken control of the Tyranids.

The Phaeron was much more cautious than the Megalith King, and instead of making any rash moves, he sent out scouts.

Necrons are the most elite stealth fighters of the Necron Dynasty. Clad in Phase Shifter, they can traverse between reality and the Warp, moving undetected in the shadows.

A few days later, the scouts returned.

The scout approached the throne, knelt on one knee, and reported, "The insects are indeed controlled by humans and are wiping out other races everywhere."

They scouted many planets that had once been occupied by the Greenskins, only to find them all dead stars, with no trace of Greenskins activity remaining. The planets' surfaces were now covered only with fragments of Greenskins armor and ruins of their strongholds.

The Tyranid Fleet continued its attacks, its deployment disciplined and organized, with a Mothership positioned at fixed intervals behind it.

Human warships escorted the swarm, and there was no conflict between the Zerg swarm and the human warships. The Tyranids did not attack the human warships, and the human warships did not attack the Tyranids.

"..." Amenhotep IX pinched his chin with his fingers and thought silently for a while.

Humans are the most stubborn race in the Milky Way. For tens of thousands of years, they have been fighting against the Greenskins, the Aeldari, the Chaos, and themselves, and yet they have still managed to develop so many things.

Now they're raising insects... This is terrible! How are other races supposed to survive?

The Necrons felt their metallic brows twitching, and their right eyelids seemed to twitch a little too.

These Necrons possess the technology to hide from the world and conceal themselves on planets, but they can still be infiltrated by humans, whether accidentally or intentionally. We cannot afford to be careless towards these humans.

Amenhotep IX switched the screen to the footage brought back by the scouts.

Twelve purple-green Tyranids Mothership moved slowly in formation. Beside them were two Imperium warships, their silver-gray hulls painted with red blood droplets and golden chalices.

The Tyranids Mothership cruised slowly past the Imperium warship, leisurely and unhurried. The Imperium warship did not fire, and the relationship between the two appeared to be... patrolling side by side.

Amenhotep IX was silent for a moment, then said, "How can humans control the Tyranids?"

The scout said, "... I don't know."

This should have been an impossible thing.

The Tyranids cannot be controlled; Tyranids only obey the commands of the Hive Consciousness.

The Hive Consciousness is the absolute core of the Zerg Swarm, the overall consciousness of the Swarm, and the sole and absolute source of command. No individual Tyranids can act independently of the Hive Consciousness, nor can they be controlled by any other race.

Amenhotep IX: "... Continue to observe! We must find a way for humanity to control the Tyranids!"

The Tyranids are currently the only race that can pose a real threat to the Necrons because they can digest metal. While the Living Metal of the Tyranids in Necrons can be reassembled, the total amount is fixed, and once consumed, it is consumed.

The Living Metal of the Necrons is transformed from the flesh and blood of the Necrontyr, and it is all finite; every bit consumed reduces its quantity.

The Necrons are said to be eternally immortal, but in reality, they are not so immortal.

*******

Lin En was unaware that the Necron Dynasty that had previously caused him trouble was now secretly spying on him again.

He's still leading his Purple Carapace Chapter, elbowing Xenos all over the galaxy.

The Lord Regent issued them passes, and they can now travel freely throughout the galaxy.

With the pass in their pockets, the Purple Carapace Chapter led the way, followed by the Lamenters, the Flesh Tearers, and the Blood Knights, pushing their way out of the Maelstrom.

After clearing the middle circle, they moved on to the outer circle, and then to the outermost circle. The area around the Maelstrom was mostly cleared, and the fleet began to stroll towards the Imperium Borderlands. Wherever there were Xenos, they went to attack them. Greenskins, Chaos, Drukhari —they ate whatever came their way.

Then, on the Eastern Fringe outskirts of the Milky Way, outside the Ultramarines region, they detected a signal from another branch fleet of the Tyranid Hive.

Lin En, on his deathbed, was startled awake.

"Tyranids branch? Which branch?"

"The color of the carapace looks like a remnant branch of Behemoth," Phoros said.

The Behemoth Tyranids's carapace is dark blue, unlike the purple of the Leviathan and Kraken, making it quite easy to distinguish.

When the Behemoth Tyranids first invaded Macragge, their main fleet was destroyed by the Ultramarines, and the remaining fleet was scattered throughout the Milky Way.

Lin En stood up and walked to the star map.

That star field was marked with a dense array of tiny red dots, quite numerous, but not as many as the main fleet.

A branch fleet, of medium size.

How many?

"Eight Mothership- class Bio-ship were detected, along with approximately 150 Escort Frigate."

Lin En nodded. "Not many. The Purple Carapace Chapter has overwhelming numbers."

Lin En then turned to look at Phoros.

Am I seeing things? Are they coming towards us?

Phoros shook his head.

"You're not seeing things, they are indeed approaching. The Behemoth branch seems to have spotted us as well."

The Tyranids are a race that evolves by devouring each other. They have no concept of their own kind. When different fleets encounter each other in the galaxy, they will devour each other. The winners evolve, and the losers become evolutionary fuel.

They didn't have their own detection equipment, so they could only vaguely sense that there was a Tyranids fleet that didn't belong to them.

So I'm thinking of seeing if I can beat them and snag a bargain.

"Hmph." Lin En scoffed.
