Background / History

The crew began when Luo Ji recruited Yamato as his vice-captain and Tama joined him after the liberation of Wano’s prisoners and the seizure of resources from the Beasts Pirates. Luo Ji formally declared the Luo Ji Pirates after storing Pluton and leaving Wano aboard a captured Beasts Pirates ship. Yamato became the crew’s first major combatant, while Tama’s ability to tame beasts provided control over Komachiyo and Onimaru 12 19.

After leaving Wano, the crew traveled through the New World while training, escaping Kaido’s pursuit, and gathering resources.
