Background

Emondi approaches Aeneas at Tinos's port disguised behind a mask and invites him to meet Scusen. He reveals his identity after Aeneas challenges the invitation, explaining that Obi-Wan had ordered him to find Aeneas. He further reveals that Scusen is Stephanie's younger brother and Obi-Wan's brother-in-law. 28

He guides Aeneas into Tinos's underground headquarters, an abandoned mechanical base beneath the island used by the Three Major Groups. There, he explains that the syndicates train volunteers and sell them to pirate crews, and notes that Bellamy may be capable of overthrowing the Kham Group. 29

During preparations to rescue Rami, Emondi is assigned to lead Aeneas in the Round Street Slaughter. Although he initially considers using Aeneas's strength to help District Three gain territory, Aeneas confronts him over this motive. Intimidated by Aeneas's threat to retaliate against any betrayal of Obi-Wan, Emondi agrees to follow Aeneas's direction. 31 32
