Background / History

Obi-Wan was an orphan raised in Tinos by Alfred’s Hunter Organization. Alfred subjected children in the organization to prolonged brainwashing and trained them as expendable child soldiers; Obi-Wan endured this system for a decade. 43

Antonidas of the Dunhold Family recognized the compassion that remained in Obi-Wan and helped him escape Alfred’s influence. Obi-Wan entered Antonidas’s service, received the Dunhold surname, and became the family’s steward. 8 43

After learning that former companions were still dying under Alfred’s regime, Obi-Wan left the Dunhold Family alone to confront the Hunter Organization. He defeated Alfred, became its new leader, and abolished its brainwashing policies. His mercy in sparing Alfred allowed Alfred to survive and later organize his revenge. 43

Obi-Wan was away from the Dunhold Family when it was destroyed. On returning, he found Antonidas dead and believed that his former master had been framed. He rescued the surviving Aeneas at ruined Goldfish Port, then dedicated himself to raising and protecting Antonidas’s son. 8 10

He also adopted Rami, a shipwreck survivor with no memories, and spent years searching for treatment for her worsening illness. When Rami was captured by the Hunter Organization, Obi-Wan surrendered himself in exchange for her safety. 13 30 34
