After some time spent screening candidates, several Uchiha leaders selected the first group of clan members to relocate to the moon.
Fugaku dispelled his clone in Konoha and returned in person. In the Uchiha District, the clan members chosen for relocation had already gathered in an open area at the rear.
All seven Uchiha leaders were there. Fugaku walked toward them.

Clan members called out one after another, excitement on their faces. Fugaku nodded and looked over the crowd.
The old, the middle-aged, the young, and the children each made up a portion of the group.
"Clan Head, we selected a hundred clan members from each age group. Four hundred in all will be the first to enter the moon."
"Good work. Let's go."
As he spoke, a Space-Time Passage opened before them. Jin went in first, followed by the older Uchiha clan members. One by one, they quickly disappeared into the passage.
Half an hour later, all four hundred Uchiha clan members had vanished from the district.
After Fugaku passed through, the passage closed completely. In the blink of an eye, everyone had arrived on the moon.
Many were still reeling from their arrival. It felt like a dream.
Jin, Matsudaira, and Kenichi had accompanied the clan members. Once everything was settled, Jin would return to Konoha to continue handling Security Force affairs.
The three used the Summoning Technique at the same time to bring their prepared supplies to the moon. Their first task was to repair the buildings on the lunar surface that remained largely intact.
Many of the clan members who had relocated this time had no talent for becoming Ninja and worked in other trades within the clan.
Some worked in construction, and many were skilled at building houses.
