Yu Yuan's gaze finally settled on the [Resource Recycling Trash Can].

Though he did not want to admit it, this was indeed the best option available right now.

The clothes were grime-caked, but they could still be worn. At worst, he could wash them. No one would see, and no one would care anyway.

Without vegetables, if he got constipated, he could drink more water to soften his stool. Or he could use Survival Points to buy wild fruit or vegetables from other players. Even wild grass could solve the problem.

Resources, however, were another matter entirely.

What concerned Yu Yuan most was the phrase "Resource Recycling."

Now that he had a target in mind, Yu Yuan no longer hesitated.

An utterly ordinary white trash can appeared at Yu Yuan's feet, with the Resource Recycling logo printed on both sides.

As the Fate Gift selection was completed, the wooden box containing the Fate Card began to shake.

Three seconds later, a long, earthy-yellow card covered in mysterious patterns appeared before Yu Yuan.

Although he was more than willing to expand his shelter, he simply could not come up with 150,000 Survival Points. Even if he sold every resource he had, it would still be impossible to meet that requirement.

In that case, he could only find a way to spend supplies worth 50,000 Survival Points on something unrelated to survival.

One hundred and fifty thousand was too much, but fifty thousand was something he could perhaps work out. He already had a rough idea in mind.

Other than one report about the typhoon leaving and the weather returning to normal, the remaining three were all district news.

They would send two raider squads to transport twenty slaves, exchanging them with Burning Fortress for one truckload of fuel, some survival supplies, and explosives.

Affected by the typhoon and torrential rain, flooding had broken out across many parts of Green Forest City. In particular, several subway tunnels in the East District had been submerged by sudden floodwaters.

The Free Ones, a drifter organization in the 5th Block, and the Ghosthead Gang, a drifter gang in the 9th Block, had both suffered heavy losses in this flood disaster.

Only the wilderness raiders hiding in the 10th Block—the Bloodhand Gang—had, under the leadership of the Mahada brothers, promptly taken over Green Forest Light Supermarket.

With only three missing and four injured, they had no plans to leave until the injuries had healed.

Commander Lao Ke of the Black Shield Police Department had successfully completed the armed suppression mission in the Central District and returned to East City this morning. He also brought back news that Marauder Prison would conduct a transaction with Burning Fortress at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.

He ordered Enforcer Carmen to take charge, with Enforcer Soda assisting, in ambushing the raider squad returning from the transaction tomorrow afternoon in the Carlisle Underground Tunnel of East City's 9th Block and seizing all the traded supplies.

However, Enforcer Soda had received secret instructions from Commander Lawrence—eliminate Carmen.

Yu Yuan fetched a pen and paper and began jotting things down.

The first two news reports had refreshed yesterday morning, while the report about the Black Shield Police Department attacking Marauder Prison tomorrow afternoon had appeared this morning. Yu Yuan had originally not intended to get involved, but circumstances no longer allowed him that choice.

It would take at least 50,000 Survival Points to get rid of the Luxury Card. There was no way to obtain that much through ordinary channels in only two days. His only hope lay in the supplies from Marauder Prison's transaction.

He opened the virtual map and checked the location of the Carlisle Underground Tunnel in the 9th Block. The 9th Block lay northeast of District 13, practically at the edge of Green Forest City.

The fastest route from the eastern outskirts to the northern outskirts was through the 9th Block, and the Carlisle Underground Tunnel was one section of that route.

On the virtual map, Yu Yuan plotted a sewer route from his shelter to the Carlisle Underground Tunnel in the 9th Block. As he looked at the map, he frowned slightly.

That was no short distance!

If he walked there himself, the one-way trip would probably take nearly two hours. He would also have to cross the 11th Block to reach the 9th Block. Thinking of the giant rat with its bizarre movements...

Yu Yuan felt a headache coming on.

After specially marking the relevant information that required attention for tomorrow's operation in the shelter memo,

Yu Yuan finally turned his attention to the trash can at his feet.

He looked at Miemie and silently thought, [Equip].
