Background and History

Lin Hao is a transmigrator who spent his first six years on Douluo Continent in Holy Soul Village. His Word Entry Lottery System lets him draw traits or save draws for larger batches; its beginner gift pack gave him the Life Evergreen Vine. At his martial-soul awakening, he revealed only the Heavenly Blade and declined Su Yuntao’s invitation to join Spirit Hall, choosing to study in Notting City first 1 2.

He grew close to Tang San and Tang Hao through childhood visits, shared meals, and Tang Hao’s help. After deciding that this Tang San was an ordinary child rather than the person he had feared, Lin Hao abandoned his plans to oppose him. Tang Hao later found suitable first-ring soul beasts for both boys 2 6.

At Notting Junior Academy, Lin Hao defeated Wang Sheng and Xiao Wu to become Dorm Seven’s leader, promising to protect its students. He and Tang San refused Yu Xiaogang’s offer of discipleship; Lin Hao subsequently obtained soul-beast research from him. After gaining their second rings, Lin Hao, Tang San, and Xiao Wu graduated early and entered Shrek Academy together 4 5 6 7 10.

At Shrek, Lin Hao advised classmates on soul-ring choices and used his clones to scout during the expedition for Oscar’s second ring. Later, he told Xiao Wu that he knew she was a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast in human form and promised not to exploit her identity 13 16 19.

Seeking access to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Lin Hao used a long-lived clone to approach Dugu Yan in Heaven Dou City. He warned her that her martial soul was poisoning her, prompting Dugu Bo to confront him. Lin Hao negotiated safe passage to the well, prepared a remedy that reduced Dugu Bo’s toxin-related pain, and consumed the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass and Infernal Delicate Apricot there 20 21 22 23 24.

Abilities and Skills

Heavenly Blade

Lin Hao’s publicly known martial soul is a heavy, mutated long blade whose length and weight he can control. It can cut or strike with its flat and spine; Lin Hao later discovered that it also has a spatial attribute 2 4 17.

• Vajra Slash: Its first strike initially gained 20% armor penetration and 200% attack power. After that strike, the armor penetration ended; attack, defense, and strength each received a 100% boost for the remainder of the half-hour effect. His improved understanding later raised the first strike’s armor penetration to 50% 6 19.
• Shadow Clone: Creates five clones matching his strength. He can shift his true body among them, making a surviving clone a means of escaping a fatal injury 7 12.
• Long-lived clone: By spending all his Soul Power, he can create one clone lasting a month. It can take a portable form and serve as a remote safeguard; Lin Hao also used such clones to operate in Heaven Dou City 7 20 21.

Life Evergreen Vine

His concealed second martial soul is a demigod-level plant with the ultimate life attribute. Its Evergreen Life Domain can 1 2:

• Heal injuries and regenerate severed limbs.
• Dispel many negative conditions, including poison, curses, mental control, and energy corrosion.
• Suppress evil and dark-aligned beings.
• Grant a healing target Life’s Praise, briefly improving their attributes while restoring a small amount of life force.

Traits, Training, and Knowledge

• Word Entry Lottery System: Supplies trait draws. Documented useful traits include Unblocked Meridians, Bottomless Stomach, Two Lifetimes of Experience, I Reckon, Exceptional Comprehension, and the unused, one-use Heaven-Defying Luck 1 2 7 19.
• Tang Sect techniques: Learned teachings shared by Tang San, including the Mysterious Heaven Skill, Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, and Purple Demon Eyes 7 13.
• Soul-master theory: Studies soul beasts and recommends skills suited to his companions’ martial souls; his advice helped guide Oscar’s and Ma Hongjun’s second-ring hunts 6 13 14 16 18.
