Background and History
Tang San grows up in Holy Soul Village as Tang Hao’s son. After a difficult first year, he is well fed and cared for, including regular medicinal baths. At six, his Blue Silver Grass and Innate Full Soul Power draw skepticism from adults who consider the martial soul useless. He later shows Tang Hao his second martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer; Tang Hao tells him to use the hammer to protect the grass 1 2 3.
Old Jack secures Tang San and Lin Hao work-study places at Notting Junior Academy. There, Tang San studies Tang Sect knowledge that appeared in his mind after his martial-soul awakening. He declines Yu Xiaogang’s offer to become a disciple and, after learning the inherited teachings, shares them with Lin Hao and Xiao Wu 3 5 7.
The three graduate early from Notting and enter Shrek Academy together at age nine. Tang San later obtains his third ring with Zhao Wuji’s help. He and his friends plan to move on to Blue Tyrant Academy in Heaven Dou City to compete in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament; Flender approves the plan, but their departure is not shown 7 10 22.
