Skinny Cat struck out with more than a dozen consecutive claw attacks, every one of them missing. She did not even touch the corner of Ye Lin's clothes.

The more she fought, the more anxious she became, and her breathing grew heavier.

Staring at Ye Lin's nearly expressionless face, she cursed, "Are you seriously not even using soul skills?"

Ye Lin stood before her, his breathing steady, without even a bead of sweat.

"What a coincidence. I haven't even used my Martial Soul. I don't need it to deal with you."

In the stands,

Spider Woman spoke in a low voice.

"His Martial Soul is called Dark Gold Dreadclaw, but there aren't even claws on either of his hands."

"From beginning to end, he never even summoned his Martial Soul. He stood there and used nothing but footwork to dodge all of Skinny Cat's attacks."

"That person seems to be deliberately refraining from using soul skills."

Kuang Xi's eyes widened, and his breathing became heavy.

"What? How is that possible?"

"Could he have known all along that we were spying on them? Is he deliberately hiding his strength?"

"If that's true, then the people behind them are far too frightening."

"Our battle is in danger!"

On the Soul Arena Platform, Skinny Cat was still panting heavily.

She stared at Ye Lin's calm face, the fire in her heart burning ever hotter.

She gritted her teeth, refocused, and watched Ye Lin's footwork, waiting for an opening.

Ye Lin moved.

His steps were half a beat faster than before, and his body shifted slightly to the left, as if he intended to circle around to Skinny Cat's side and rear.

Skinny Cat's eyes lit up. Seizing that half-beat gap, she thrust out her silver claws, one claw stabbing into Ye Lin's waist.
