Boom! The blast shook the sky. Scorching light detonated the energy within him, and the Evil Emperor burst into a spray of blood and shattered flesh.

Dozens of kilometers away, two GUTS fighter jets hovered high in the sky.

Daigo and Shinjo piloted WING 1, while Rena and Horii operated WING 2. Just as they neared the Pyramid, they spotted a bizarre creature far larger than Golza. The sight stunned them.

Without hesitation, WING 2 fired its devastating Texas Beam.

The Texas Beam could kill even Gakuma Alpha in a single shot, let alone the Evil Emperor.

The sudden attack startled the remaining nine.

The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, who had only just taken human form, broke out in a cold sweat. That was close. I nearly ended up like the Evil Emperor.

Tang Chen stared at the distant sky, shock filling his eyes. "What kind of attack was that? How could it be so powerful?"

Kong Yuanshan watched the lingering white light. "Judging by the shape of the beam, it must be the Texas Beam mounted on WING 2, the fighter shown on the Sky Curtain."

Bibi Dong frowned. "When the Sky Curtain showed weapons like that striking monsters, they barely hurt them. How did one shot kill the Evil Emperor?"

The Snow Empress glanced at her, a trace of mockery in her cool voice. "You said it yourself. Those weapons were striking monsters."

"You..." Bibi Dong faltered. Her expression darkened, and she was about to retort.

"That's enough. Stop arguing," Qian Daoliu said. "We have a formidable enemy ahead. There's no room for infighting. GUTS has arrived, so Golza and Melba won't be far behind. Let's decide how to deal with them."

The others put aside their differences, gathered together, and quickly discussed a battle plan.

Before long, GUTS spotted the Pyramid.

As the GUTS Hyper Guns took aim, Qian Daoliu and the other eight felt an inexplicable stab of fear.

Their instincts warned them of danger. Only then did they realize that the little objects in the team's hands might actually threaten them.

Qian Daoliu stepped forward. Of the nine, he was the most adept at dealing with people, and his Angel Martial Soul possessed the power of light.

The group had chosen him to represent them in talks with the humans of Ultraman Tiga World.

A warm, reassuring smile spread across Qian Daoliu's face.

"There's no need to be alarmed. We mean you no harm. We're humans from another world."

"Another world?" Daigo blinked, then quickly asked, "Are you aliens?"

Aliens? Did that mean people from another planet?

Once he understood, Qian Daoliu nodded. "That's right. We're aliens."

Rena remained wary. "Why have you aliens come here?"

"A god summoned us."

"Like these sleeping Giants of Light, we are apostles of the Light God. A divine oracle guided us across worlds to protect the giants' stone statues."

"The Light God?" Daigo was taken aback.

Qian Daoliu said no more. With a thought, his Martial Soul merged with him.

Hum!

Dazzling golden light erupted around him. Three pairs of sacred white Angel wings unfurled behind his back, and a vast, pure aura of light swept through the Pyramid. Its holy majesty washed over everyone present.

Rena's eyes widened. "An... an Angel!"

The powerful aura of light and the sacred wings dispelled much of the GUTS team's suspicion.

Daigo and the others decided to believe Qian Daoliu for now.

Just as the tension eased, an urgent transmission from Captain Megumi Iruma sounded in their earpieces:

"All units, attention! Golza and Melba are approaching the Pyramid! Prepare to engage immediately!"

Their faces tightened. Without another word, they turned and rushed out of the Pyramid.

Qian Daoliu called out, "We'll stop Golza! GUTS, sorry for the trouble, but please keep Melba occupied!"

"Got it!"

WING 1 and WING 2 took off at once.

At that moment, two enormous, terrifying figures appeared over the distant desert.

From more than ten kilometers away, a red glow flashed on Golza's forehead. A terrifying Ultrasonic Ray gathered and blasted straight toward the golden Pyramid!

"Move out!" Qian Daoliu shouted.

The nine had already settled on a plan.

For a Giant of Light to awaken, Daigo had to turn into light and enter a statue. That transformation would only happen when he faced mortal danger.

So they could not prevent Melba's beam from hitting Daigo.

In the events shown on the Sky Curtain, each monster destroyed one statue. If they intercepted Golza and let Melba attack the fighters, Daigo would be driven to transform and awaken Tiga. Tiga could then defeat both monsters.

That would complete their mission and save at least one more statue.

They chose Golza because they could not pierce either monster's defenses. They might as well hold back the slower one.

The nine charged toward Golza as he continued attacking the Pyramid. When they came within a kilometer or two, they made their move.

The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King and Bo Saixi unleashed their Soul Power together. They had already been drawing seawater from the nearby coast toward them.

Now that water rose into a towering wave a hundred meters high and crashed toward Golza with crushing force!

Golza neither dodged nor retreated. His massive body stood like an indestructible rock. The surging water washed over him but only slowed him slightly.

"Domain Expansion! Emperor's Cold Heaven: Snow Dance Shining Sun!"

The Snow Empress's cold voice rang out. The bitter chill of the Far North spread instantly, turning everything within ten kilometers into her frozen domain.

This was the Snow Empress's innate domain. Once unleashed, it supposedly drove the temperature down to absolute zero and froze even the air.

At least, that was how the original story described it.

If she could really reach absolute zero, even the God King Tang San would be crying for his mother after facing her.
