Background

Ye Xiao was reportedly abandoned as an infant and later found and named by the head of the Ye Family. As a boy, he entered the Elder Ancient Cave and obtained a cultivation technique of his own rather than learning the Ye Family’s inherited art. Its name and full rank remained unknown to others until the tournament final 26 29.

He held first place on Imperial Capital University’s Strength Rankings and had not lost since enrolling. Other top competitors struggled to make him reveal his full strength 26 28.

Personality

Ye Xiao is usually reserved and composed. He remains expressionless through tournament draws and defeats Zhao Tiezhu without appearing pressed, but becomes openly excited when Li Yao manages to injure him 24 25 29. He respects a serious challenge while retaining a showy streak: during their final, he publicly announces his rare technique, drawing attention from powerful spectators 29. Afterward, he thanks Li Yao for helping him but declines an invitation to socialize 30 32.
