After the treaty was signed, Aaron was immediately ordered to show Alusair and Charlotte around the castle. Some of the Princess's attendants and the accompanying Purple Dragon Knights camped outside town. Their arrival had been sudden, so Alusair had ordered them to prepare tents in advance.
Before arriving, Alusair and Charlotte had both been full of anticipation, each imagining a different scene. But once they actually saw the layout of Sallyan Castle, they were still somewhat disappointed.
The first phase of Sallyan Castle consisted of a wall enclosing several thousand square meters of land and a castle. Apart from the square towers, the Fairy Princess's Absolute Good Palace, and Eleanor's Aquitaine Palace, everything was unfinished. Even the castle's main building, where Aaron himself lived, was only half built.
This dashed Alusair's plans, which had involved certain rather dark intentions.
You couldn't mark out a section of a castle that didn't exist.
Yet all their disappointment vanished the instant they saw the Fairy Princess.

When the tiny, sweet-smelling Buer emerged from the Absolute Good Palace with a flock of little fairies fluttering behind her, Alusair and Charlotte felt as though they had been struck straight through the heart.
Her little-girl appearance, pointed elven ears, big, glistening eyes, slightly baby-plump cheeks and limbs, signature white-to-green flower-pistil dress, and specially made cape sent both visitors' maternal instincts into overdrive.
