As Aaron emerged from the castle, he faintly heard the sounds of battle on the shores of Wyvernwater.
Maximian hurried over. "Aaron, Her Highness and Lady Aegir seem to be fighting!"

Aaron frowned slightly. After a moment's thought, he began chanting a spell under Maximian's gaze.

An exquisitely decorated mirror appeared before Aaron. Within its distorted surface, the fierce battle between Alusair and Aegir was unfolding.
Maximian lowered his head helplessly. "Aaron, what are you going to do?"
"I'll leave them alone." Aaron let out a soft breath. "Those two won't be satisfied until they've fought it out."
"That's not what I'm asking." Maximian took another step forward. "I'm asking what you intend to do about Miss Eleanor and Princess Alusair."

"Everyone's, but mine most of all." Maximian, a Sword Saint Monk, walked over to Aaron's side and spoke with some concern. "But it seems no one else is really suited to asking you. You know what a crafty fellow Robert is. He wouldn't agree to ask, so it had to be me. The legions still stand with the Princess, but the people of your domain undoubtedly prefer Miss Eleanor."
