The second day aboard the passenger ship, on Dragonmere, in the western waters of the Meteor Sea.

Winter waves slapped against the hull. This was the four-person party's second day of travel. Once the novelty of the first day wore off, the voyage gradually became dull and tedious. The young lady quickly grew tired of the endless sea and the ceaseless sound of waves. Especially since she had slept poorly the night before, she decisively chose to catch up on sleep during the day.

Eleanor had also gotten up rather late. Miss Cleric slowly rubbed her sore, numb lower back and, supporting herself against the wall, told Aaron she intended to go out for a stroll. Unlike Charlotte, who disliked socializing, Eleanor was a cleric of Mama Selûne and naturally had to interact with plenty of strangers.
