Konoha: Starting with the Tenseigan and Taking Over Team 7

Kakuzu and Hidan had gone too far. They had destroyed an important village like this—even Hokage Rock had been wrecked by the two of them!

Itachi assumed Kakuzu and Hidan were responsible. As far as he knew, Cangyue wasn't capable of destruction on this scale.

"When Aogetsu Hyuga shows up, hold him off for a few minutes. I'll capture the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. With these eyes, I can control the Nine-Tails easily."

He had deliberately shown his face at the Dango Shop so Asuma and the others would spot him. He had also deliberately arranged for Kisame Hoshigaki to fight Cangyue.

Since Cangyue had defeated Kakuzu and Hidan, he ought to be able to hold Kisame Hoshigaki off for a while, even if he couldn't match Danzo or Pain. Right?

Kisame Hoshigaki was powerful, with Chakra rivaling a Tailed Beast's. Cangyue might not be able to defeat him.

But he should at least be able to hold out until the village's Jonin and Anbu Ninja arrived in force.

"Aogetsu Hyuga? The so-called Disaster Ninja? I hear he has unusual eyes." Kisame Hoshigaki stroked his greatsword, licked his lips, and said eagerly, "I wonder if his Chakra tastes good?"

Konan had told him Aogetsu Hyuga was strong enough to overpower Kakuzu and Hidan throughout their fight. That made Kisame eager to face him and have Samehada devour his Chakra.

Kisame Hoshigaki wasn't concerned that Aogetsu Hyuga had overpowered Kakuzu and Hidan. He was several times stronger than Hidan!

Aogetsu Hyuga sat on a rooftop with a Lollipop in his mouth, watching Team 7 and the Akatsuki members in the distance through his mist-blue Tenseigan.
