Kuta looked at Laboon, a red glint flashing in his eyes. He could feel the giant creature's sorrow.
"Kuta, why do I feel like he's crying?"
Kuina held Kuta's hand a little tighter.
"Poor thing?"
"I don't feel anything!"
A-Tao rose from the bow deck, brushed nonexistent dust from her clothes, smoothed her hair, then took a stylish drag on her cigarette.
"You idiot. Of course you can't sense it."
Two antennae extended from A-Luo's head and twitched.
"There really is a
sadness about him, as if he's been waiting for someone all this time, and that person has never appeared."
As he spoke, he touched his chest, as though Laboon's sorrow had seeped into him.
Kuta turned toward the others at the bow and asked,
"Want to know why he's like this?"
"Yes."
Everyone answered in unison.
"Then why don't we ask someone who knows?"

"You'll find out soon. Hahaha!"
Kuta laughed and swept Twin Capes with his Observation Haki, but found no other presence.

He fixed his gaze on Laboon.
