This woman... was serious!!
"What's wrong? I'm a Marine who stands for justice. Is there something wrong with Marines killing pirates?"
Atlas taunted him casually.
She was baiting him.
As long as Lucci dared attack her, she would have a reason to cripple CP9's strongest agent in eight hundred years on the spot. Even his superiors would have nothing to say about it.
"..."
Lucci remained silent, but his fists stayed clenched. He had mastered the Six Powers and was unrivaled within CP9, but as a member of another organization under the World Government, he knew exactly how formidable the Navy's youngest candidate admiral was. She was absolutely beyond his ability to fight.

Weakness itself was a sin!
Lucci slowly unclenched his fists, blood returning to his whitened knuckles. His expression remained so cold that Atlas wondered whether his face was paralyzed.
"I'll report everything exactly as it happened."
With those words, Lucci turned and left. There was no point in arguing further. He was a Cipher Pol agent. Personal disputes meant nothing to him; only the mission mattered.
"Tch. I thought you'd take a swing at me. What a shame..."
Atlas sighed in apparent disappointment, but her words sent a chill down Lucci's spine as he turned away.
This woman...
She wanted an excuse to attack him!!?
Lucci had no doubt White Hou would do something like that. He had heard something of her reputation: the youngest candidate admiral, no less ruthless than Akainu. She was a woman who never hesitated to kill!
P.S. That's all for now. The next chapter will be up a little later. Visiting relatives over New Year's is exhausting. My head still hurts from drinking with everyone, and I barely managed to finish this chapter. I'm going to bed; I can't keep
