Background / History

Louf was born in the Mokomo Dukedom on Zunesha’s back. Adrian rescued her after she was taken to the Sabaody Archipelago’s Sofia Auction House; Lumi, the Oro Jackson’s Ship Spirit, brought her aboard and introduced them 79 80 444. Louf stayed with Adrian and Lumi, taking charge of cooking, laundry, and other daily needs aboard the Nether Abyss 86 108 444.

She later returned to Zou with Lumi while Adrian remained behind to meet the Whitebeard Pirates. Adrian subsequently accompanied her into the Mokomo Dukedom, where she eagerly offered to show him around 103 108 227.

Louf declined Adrian’s offer of the Squeeze-Squeeze Fruit because its food-related power did not appeal to her. Years later, he gave her the Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Nine-Tailed Fox—a fruit she had hoped to obtain—which she ate aboard the Nether Abyss 185 447.

Appearance

Before eating her Devil Fruit, Louf is a petite, snow-white-furred fox Mink with long silvery-white hair 79 291. Her new forms retain the nine-tailed fox’s distinctive tails 447.

• Human form: A silver-haired, amber-eyed fox woman with nine white tails and a beauty mark beside her right eye; she can maintain this form with little effort 447.
• Hybrid form: Resembles her original Mink appearance, but with nine tails 447.
• Beast form: A nine-tailed fox 447.

Personality

Louf is affectionate and devoted to Adrian, whom she calls “Adrian-sama.” She worries when he faces dangerous opponents, but trusts his judgment and takes comfort in his reassurances 84 109 187. She is also playful: she teases him about their time together and becomes curious when she catches an unfamiliar woman’s scent on his coat 225 275.

Cooking matters more to her than combat. She collects recipes, takes pride in improving her meals, and dreams of creating a unique drink. After discovering her Foxfire, her first thought is that she can use it to light the stove 145 179 185 447.

Louf’s Mythical Zoan fruit grants three forms that manifest unusually because she is already a fox Mink 447.

• Her human form can serve as her everyday appearance; her hybrid form returns her to a nine-tailed version of her original Mink form 447.
• She can also become a nine-tailed fox 447.
• She senses an ability to change appearance, but cannot yet use the fruit’s mythical powers skillfully 447.

Foxfire

Louf can produce purple flame from her fingertips 447.

• Adrian senses a quality in the flame that may briefly beguile an opponent; this is his assessment, not a demonstrated combat use 447.
• Louf immediately sees a practical use for it in cooking 447.

Mink Traits and Cooking

• Her keen sense of smell lets her detect subtle changes in Adrian’s scent and identify another person’s scent on his clothing 108 208 275.
• As a Mink, she is capable of taking a Moon Lion form, though Adrian has generally treated her as a cook rather than a fighter 184.
• She prepares meals for the group and knows enough about cocktails to explain a competition’s drinks to Adrian 145 185 444.

• Adrian — Her rescuer and the person she serves aboard the Nether Abyss. She is deeply attached to him; he considers her family and sought the Nine-Tailed Fox fruit as a gift for her 79 225 444 447.
• Lumi — The Ship Spirit who introduced Louf to Adrian and accompanied her on a visit home to Zou 79 108.
• Ulti — Calls her “Boss Louf”; Louf gently corrects Ulti’s behavior, while Ulti celebrates Louf’s transformation 372 447.
