History

Dragon left the Marines without telling his former colleague Sakazuki why. By the time Marines were sent to confront him at Loguetown, he was a wanted man; his posters identified him only as “Dragon,” concealing his connection to his father, Monkey D. Garp 33 54.

Dragon later helped guard Portgas D. Rouge in the South Blue at Garp’s insistence. Adrian, the pirate known as White Ghost, discovered Dragon’s identity and fought him on a deserted island. Dragon used wind and Dragon Claw Fist but was defeated. When Adrian tested him with Melancholy Hollow, Dragon briefly released a powerful will that confirmed his Conqueror’s Haki 54 55.

Years later, Dragon approached Adrian on Sabaody and offered him leadership of the Revolutionary Army. Adrian refused to join, though both opposed the World Government and Celestial Dragons. Dragon accepted that they could act independently against the same enemies and left Adrian a contact number 263 264.

Dragon subsequently brought Revolutionary Army commanders to support Fisher Tiger’s slave-liberation mission in Mary Geoise. While the uprising spread, he led an attack on the Five Elders’ palace. The Army had prepared primarily for CP0’s leaders and badly underestimated the Elders: Dragon held off the sword-wielding Bald Five Elder, but could not quickly reach his commanders when the Blond Five Elder overwhelmed them. Adrian then sent Thunder Lion into Dragon’s fight; their combined wind and lightning pressured both Elders until Fleet Admiral Kong joined the defense 455 457 458 459 460 462 465.

Hurricane Fruit

Dragon possesses the Logia Hurricane Fruit, which grants control over wind and lets him fly. Its storms can affect both sky and sea 459.
