A week had passed since Calyrex arrived at the Manor. He had shown little emotion, calmly spending each day digging holes, planting trees, and watering them alongside the Ursaring.

No one could tell what was going through that big head of his or why he was working so obediently. After what had happened before, they all had a poor impression of him.

Mingyou knew what he was after, though. Calyrex wanted to get used to the place, fit in, and build good relationships with everyone. Then he would draw them into his studio one by one and make them his subordinates...

It was a naive plan, but that kind of simplicity could work here. Before long, even Ralts and the others might start following him around.
