Three hours passed before the Snow Empress emerged from the cold spring in the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

The spring, formed from the energy leaking from the Ice Dragon King's corpse, had done her a world of good.

Her injuries had healed considerably over those few hours, and she could now draw on more of her strength.

Only Tang San remained in the well.

Another two hours passed. A vortex suddenly formed along the boundary at the center of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, and Tang San leaped out of it.

Ice-blue and crimson light radiated from his body. He had grown a little taller, and his physique had become sturdier.

"Teacher, I did it!"

Tang San was beside himself with excitement as he felt the surging power within him.

Tang San entered the room and took a booklet from inside his robe. He had not put it in his Storage Soul Tool, a sign of how much it mattered to him.

"Teacher, I happened upon this legacy. Someday, I'd like to establish a sect and carry it forward. For now, I'd like to share it with you."

With that, Tang San handed him the booklet.

Ling Han's heart stirred. Happened upon a legacy? This is clearly the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record!

He took the booklet and began leafing through it.

Sure enough, it was the complete Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record, including the full Mysterious Heaven Skill.

Ling Han entered, leaving the two of them alone in her room.

"What did you want to see me about?" Her voice was cool as ever.

The Snow Empress paused at the words "Soul Core," then nodded. "I didn't expect you to know about Soul Cores. Of course. Ask me anything."

"How many Soul Cores do you have?"

She blinked. "One, of course."

"What if I wanted to form two—and form them both at once? Do you think it could be done?"

Ling Han grew so excited as he spoke that he seized her slender hand.

The Snow Empress blushed but did not pull away. Instead, she considered his question seriously. "In theory, yes, but it would be extremely difficult. As far as I know, only one being on the entire continent has two Soul Cores, and he's a Soul Beast. Even he formed them one after the other, not simultaneously."

Ling Han knew exactly whom she meant: the true ruler of the Star Dou Great Forest, Beast God Di Tian.

"But I think I can do it. Xue'er, do you believe in me?"

The Snow Empress looked into the handsome young man's resolute eyes and nodded. "I do."

His broad, strong hands still held hers firmly, and an inexplicable sense of safety welled up within her.

This young man had the courage to attempt what no one else had ever done. By following him, perhaps she truly could reach the legendary Divine Realm.

After leaving the Snow Empress's room, Ling Han returned to his own.

He resolved to go into seclusion and work out how to form Yin-Yang Complementary Dual Soul Cores.
