"Ow, why does my head hurt so much? Did Bo Hanmo hit me?" Fang Yao couldn't get out of bed. Her head was pounding.
Bo Hanmo stared at her through his black eyes. Who hit whom, exactly?
Fang Yao staggered downstairs. Before she could steady herself, she saw that Bo Hanmo was still home.
"Huh, Bo Hanmo, aren't you going to work today? It's already noon," Fang Yao asked, puzzled.
Old Master Bo said gloomily, "Of course he's going to work. I told him to wait here for you."
Fang Yao tilted her head. Why did Grandpa's voice sound strange today?
"Grandpa, what's wrong with your voice?"
"I'm upset."
"Who upset you, Grandpa? Tell me who it was, and I'll have Bo Hanmo bankrupt her." Fang Yao stepped forward and massaged his shoulders.
Bo Hanmo narrowed his eyes. You said it.

Bo Miao and Old Madam Bo bowed their heads and laughed quietly. Neither dared look up for fear Fang Yao would see.
Old Master Bo turned around resentfully and pointed at his black eye. "You did. See this black eye? You gave it to me."
"Come on, Grandpa. Did someone put a sack over your head and beat you up, and now you can't find them, so you're blaming—" Fang Yao gave him a look that said, Don't think you can frame me just because I blacked out. My memory's excellent.
Then she discovered she was the subject of the gossip. Fang Yao opened the system, intending to find proof that the old man had wronged her. Instead, she froze in embarrassment.
As Fang Yao read the gossip records on the system, her buried memories came rushing back.
Yesterday, after dealing with the scumbag, Bo Hanmo and the others had brought Fang Yao home. She was drunk and throwing punches. Old Master Bo, who had been waiting anxiously at home, stepped forward to ask how things had gone.
Before he could get close, he heard Fang Yao say, "You're my man. What's wrong with me touching you? Forget touching you, I could sleep with you too. Move your hand. Don't make me force myself on you. You wouldn't be able to handle it."
Bo Hanmo's cool, composed air shattered at her outrageous words. He caught Fang Yao's wandering hand. "Be good. We're home. Let's go to our room, okay?"
"No! What are you looking at? Bunch of single losers. Keep staring and I'll gouge your eyes out." Fang Yao held out two fingers like lobster claws and reached toward Bo Zhe's and Bo Miao's eyes.
The verbal attack had been bad enough. Now she was coming at him physically? Bo Zhe took several frightened steps backward.
Fang Yao giggled at the sight of him. What a coward.
Bo Zhe glared resentfully at his older brother's back. "Bro, can you please control your wife? She's bullying me."
Bo Miao had tucked her head down long ago. Even after being attacked, she merely trailed along dejectedly. At Bo Zhe's words, she glanced up once, then lowered her head again.
Old Master Bo pointed at Fang Yao. "Weren't you supposed to be following someone? How did you end up drinking? Why didn't you watch Fang Yao? How much did she have?"
Old Master Bo sniffed. Huh? Why couldn't he smell any alcohol?
Bo Zhe held up one finger. Old Master Bo's eyes widened. "You mean one glass?"
Bo Zhe nodded. "Yeah. One glass."
"That's all it took?" Old Master Bo circled Fang Yao. Then he covered his eye and stumbled backward.
Bo Zhe hurried to support him. Hearing her grandfather cry out, Bo Miao looked up. When she saw him holding his face, she rushed over to help. "Grandpa, what happened? Oh my god, why is your eye swollen?"
Bo Hanmo hadn't expected Fang Yao to suddenly hit someone. Fang Yao raised her fist. "You wicked old man! Don't think I don't know you were talking bad about me. Hmph! Let's see you do it again."
After hitting him, Fang Yao blew on her little fist and grinned proudly.
"Wife, you..." Bo Hanmo didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Before he could say another word, Fang Yao fell asleep against his chest, drool and all.

"Remember now?" Old Master Bo sounded more aggrieved than ever. The look in his eyes could have riddled Fang Yao with holes.
Ha ha ha~
Fang Yao laughed awkwardly, shuffled behind Bo Hanmo in tiny steps, and hid herself.
Bo Hanmo felt Fang Yao tracing circles on his back with one finger. Smiling, he covered his mouth and coughed.
That's enough, Grandpa. The one who hit you was a little drunkard.
Old Master Bo turned his resentful gaze on Bo Hanmo. Old Madam Bo spoke up. "That's enough. You were the one who talked about Ah Yao. You were asking for it! You've already held Ah Mo up over something so small."
Old Master Bo opened his mouth. "..."
Now it was his fault?
Old Madam Bo beckoned Fang Yao over. "You mustn't drink like that again. Your head hurts, doesn't it?"
Fang Yao pouted and nodded. "Grandma, it hurts so much. It feels like someone hit me over the head with a stick. It really, really hurts."
"Huh, Bo Zhe, why do you keep looking down? Doesn't your neck hurt?"
Enjoying Bo Hanmo's massage, Fang Yao looked up and noticed Bo Zhe sitting silently on a nearby sofa.
Curious, she tried to lean over for a look, but Bo Hanmo pulled her back.
"Sit still. Bo Zhe, your sister-in-law asked you a question." Bo Hanmo held Fang Yao by the back of her neck so she couldn't move.
Bo Zhe raised his head. Fang Yao spat out her hangover soup and pointed at him. "Don't tell me I gave you that black eye too."
Bo Zhe pursed his lips. "What do you think?!"
A wave of resentment seemed to blow Fang Yao's hair into disarray. She narrowed her eyes and looked from side to side, trying to escape the awkwardness.
Fang Yao finished lunch as quickly as she could and returned to her room. "Oh my god, I only had one glass, didn't I? Am I one of those people who goes down after a single drink? I can't drink again. Or at least, I can't go after my family if I do."
Everyone else: So going after us is fine, is that it? 😠
Fang Yao gave an awkward smile, grabbed Bo Hanmo, and ran off. ︿( ̄︶ ̄)︿
Fang Yao blocked the doorway and looked at Bo Hanmo. "What do you think you're doing?"
She looked at the clothes in his hands. Even she could tell the man wanted to move into her bedroom. Not a chance.
Bo Hanmo's lips curved. He'd known Fang Yao would deny it. He set down his clothes, took out a sheet of paper, and held it up in front of her.
"This is the written promise you gave me yesterday while you were flirting with me. You wouldn't go back on your word, would you? I'm still an innocent young man. You touched me, so you have to take responsibility."
Fang Yao stared hard at her name on the page. It listed when she had touched Bo Hanmo and how many times. It said that if Bo Hanmo let her kiss him a few times, she would let him into her room. She had even promised to take responsibility.
Fang Yao swayed, caught herself against the doorframe, and thumped the door. Good heavens, good looks had led her astray. Why hadn't she restrained herself?
Bo Hanmo seized the opening and entered Fang Yao's bedroom. He hung his clothes in her wardrobe and nodded in satisfaction.
