Bibi Dong paused, then continued, "This operation is classified as top secret! Not a word of it is to get out!"
"Yes! We will obey Your Holiness's command!"
The cardinals accepted their orders solemnly, excitement gleaming in their eyes.
Hunting down Tang Hao was something Spirit Hall had wanted to accomplish for over a decade!
If they succeeded, they would not only avenge the previous pope, but also strike fear into the Clear Sky Sect and the other sects. The whole world would see Spirit Hall's supreme authority!
As her subordinates left to carry out their orders, Bibi Dong sat back on her throne. She gazed at the vast sky beyond the hall, an unreadable emotion flickering through her violet eyes.
"Tang Hao..."
"Your life will bear witness to my path to godhood," she murmured, her voice cold as iron.
At that moment, even the wind in Spirit City seemed to carry a murderous chill.
And so a deadly hunt for the Clear Sky Douluo began.
Yet no one knew that the source of this storm lay in a quiet courtyard outside Suotuo City.
On the morning of the seventh day after Tang San left Shrek Academy.
On Shrek Academy's Back Mountain, Buzhou Retreat lay beneath a thin veil of morning mist. Birds sang crisply, and dewdrops rolled over blades of grass, catching the light.
In the main bedroom, Cao Kun slowly opened his eyes. A chaotic glimmer flashed through them before giving way to their usual deep calm.
A new day meant a new sign-in.
[Ding! The host is at the exclusive sign-in location, Mount Buzhou Retreat. Would you like to sign in today?]
The system's familiar prompt sounded in his mind right on time.
"Sign in," Cao Kun thought.
[Ding! Sign-in successful!] [Congratulations, host! You have received one Random Character Summoning Card!]
Cao Kun raised an eyebrow, surprise and delight flashing in his eyes.
A Random Character Summoning Card!
Now that was a good reward!
In the more than twelve years since he had arrived in this world, he had obtained only four of them, including this one.
The first three had summoned talented people with considerable potential, dependable loyalty, and their own specialties. They had since become pillars of Mount Buzhou.
Which world would this summoning draw someone from?
And what surprises would they bring?
Without hesitation, Cao Kun silently commanded, Use the Random Character Summoning Card.
[Ding! Random Character Summoning Card used successfully!] [Randomly selecting characters from across the heavens... Selecting...] [Ding! Congratulations, host! You have summoned three characters from the world of One Piece: Sakazuki (Akainu), Kuzan (Aokiji), and Borsalino (Kizaru)!]
Cao Kun: "...!!!"
Even with the composure of a Level 99 Limit Douluo, he could not help but reel. His eyes blazed with excitement!
The three admirals of Navy Headquarters!
Wielders of the Logia-type Magu Magu no Mi, Hie Hie no Mi, and Pika Pika no Mi!
The pinnacle of the navy's fighting strength in the world of One Piece!
And he had summoned all three at once?!
The system had really gone all out!
He immediately focused on the close bond that had formed between him and the three new arrivals, something akin to a master-servant contract. At the same time, their basic information appeared in his mind:
[Sakazuki (Akainu)] [Rank: Level 98 Power Attack System Titled Douluo (converted under this world's Rules, with strength adjusted accordingly)] [Martial Soul: Magma (top-tier elemental Martial Soul possessing Ultimate Fire and some earth attributes; exceptionally powerful offense and destructive force)] [Title: Akainu (may be changed)] [Soul Rings: Optimal configuration (system-adapted): yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black, black, red!] [Loyalty: 100% (absolute loyalty)] [Traits: Believes in absolute justice (to an obsessive degree); highly effective at carrying out orders; upright, forceful, and intolerant of evil; excels at frontal assaults and widespread destruction.]
[Kuzan (Aokiji)] [Rank: Level 98 Titled Douluo] [Martial Soul: Ice (top-tier elemental Martial Soul possessing Ultimate Ice; excels at battlefield control, defense, and mobility)] [Title: Aokiji] [Soul Rings: Optimal configuration] [Loyalty: 100%] [Traits: Believes in laid-back justice (flexible); sees the bigger picture; relatively easygoing but dependable when it counts; excels at large-scale battlefield control, freezing restraints, and high-speed movement.]
[Borsalino (Kizaru)] [Rank: Level 98 Titled Douluo] [Martial Soul: Light (top-tier elemental Martial Soul possessing ultimate speed and the light attribute; unrivaled speed and unpredictable attacks)] [Title: Kizaru] [Soul Rings: Optimal configuration] [Loyalty: 100%] [Traits: Believes in ambiguous justice (pragmatic); keenly perceptive; seemingly carefree but shrewd; excels at extreme-speed movement, beam attacks, and reconnaissance.]
All three admirals were Level 98 Titled Douluo, each with a top-tier natural-element Martial Soul. Their combat power far surpassed others of the same rank!
More importantly, their loyalty was absolute, and their distinct personalities and abilities complemented one another!
Akainu's unmatched offense could crush enemies head-on. Aokiji was a master of battlefield control who could restrain anything. Kizaru moved at the speed of light, coming and going in a flash!
With these three joining Mount Buzhou, its high-level fighting strength would take a tremendous leap forward!
It would have more than enough power to command respect and deter any force on the continent!
"Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!"
Cao Kun said it three times, exhilarated.
With a thought, he summoned the three admirals.
The next second.
The space in the courtyard rippled almost imperceptibly. Three figures appeared without a sound and dropped to one knee.
The man on the left was tall and powerfully built. He wore a dark red suit and a cloak with the word "Justice" written across its back. His face was stern, and his gaze was sharp as a blade.
He was Admiral Akainu.
Heat radiated faintly from him, as though he were a volcano poised to erupt.
The man in the middle was just as tall but somewhat leaner. He wore a white suit vest over a dark blue shirt, with a green sleep mask pushed up onto his forehead. He was yawning as if he had only just woken, though the eyes he occasionally opened were calm and unfathomable.
He was Admiral Aokiji.
Even the air around him seemed a little cooler.
The man on the right was tall and slender. He wore a yellow-and-white striped suit, had a ring of stubble around his face, and sported sunglasses. A faint, devil-may-care smile played on his lips.
He was Admiral Kizaru.
He stood motionless, yet somehow gave the impression that he might turn into light and vanish at any moment.
"Sakazuki, Kuzan, and Borsalino pay their respects to our lord!"
The three spoke in unison. Their voices were deep, and the respect and loyalty in them were unmistakable.
"No need for formalities."
Cao Kun raised a hand, gesturing for them to rise, and smiled with satisfaction. "From today onward, you three are elders of Mount Buzhou and will hold seats among the Twelve Elders. Yan'er will explain your specific duties and authority later. For now, your first priority is to learn the Rules of this world and master your newly converted powers as quickly as possible."
"As you command, my lord!" the three answered again.
