Uchiha Yi could not remember whether the Byakugan could see through shadow clones early on. In any case, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's Byakugan could not—at least, she could not distinguish a shadow clone from the original in an instant.

Otherwise, she would not have fallen for that trick several times during her fight with Naruto.

"This was just an experiment. The Sharingan can't see through shadow clones, anyway.

"As for whether the Byakugan can, I don't know either. I figured I'd give it a try. Even if it failed, I wouldn't lose anything. At worst, I'd just use another method to win." Uchiha Yi wagged a finger as he explained, a confident smile on his face.

He had to admit, that fellow Tobirama Senju really was devious. He had tried every possible means to counter the Uchiha Clan.

Ordinary clones could be seen through by the Sharingan, so he developed shadow clones.

To deal with Uchiha Izuna and prevent the Mangekyō Sharingan from tracking his movements, he developed the Flying Thunder God Technique.

To counter the Uchiha Clan's fire release, he painstakingly studied Water Release. Could anyone believe that he used Water Release better than the Mizukage?

Even the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique had been developed by Tobirama Senju specifically to counter the Uchiha, robbing their Sharingan of its advantage.

No one had ever targeted the Uchiha the way Tobirama Senju had.

He could not handle Madara Uchiha, but dealing with ordinary Uchiha was child's play for Tobirama Senju.

Hyuga Rinka was left speechless beside him. Just how little did he think of her?!

Still, she had to admit that Uchiha Yi really was stronger than her. More importantly, he was two years younger. This guy truly deserved to be called the greatest prodigy.

"Mm!" Tsunade nodded slightly. This approach relied on Uchiha Yi being stronger than Hyuga Rinka, so there was nothing wrong with what he had done.

Tsunade checked the time, then said, "All right, introductions are done, and I have a rough idea of your abilities. Once I get back, I'll plan out how to train you.

"It's about time we went on our mission. I already picked one up yesterday."

"Great! We're going on a mission!" Kushina Uzumaki exclaimed eagerly. An actual mission! Would they get to leave the village? Would they fight other ninja?

Even Hyuga Rinka's normally placid face showed a flicker of excitement. Clearly, going out of the village on a mission had become something of an obsession for this young lady of the Main Family.

Many members of the Main Family never had a chance to leave the village in their entire lives, let alone leave the Land of Fire.

Only Uchiha Yi's expression grew a little odd. He had a nagging feeling that Tsunade might use this opportunity to set them up.

By the time Tsunade led them to the entrance of a hot spring establishment, Uchiha Yi had completely lost his composure. That woman was definitely doing this on purpose.

"Big Sis Tsunade, are you treating us to a soak in the hot springs?" Kushina Uzumaki asked expectantly.

Tsunade had brought her to this hot spring establishment before, and it had felt wonderful.

But Big Sis Tsunade had told her that she absolutely had to keep Uchiha Yi in check in the future and not let him visit hot springs too often, or he would even forget to go home.

Uchiha Yi's eyelid twitched. With some difficulty, he asked, "Don't tell me our mission is here?"

Tsunade gave Uchiha Yi an approving look. "You really are a clever little guy.

"That's right. Your mission today is to clean this entire hot spring establishment. Well? You can do it, can't you?"

"Huh?" Kushina Uzumaki and Hyuga Rinka were dumbfounded. One was the former princess of the Uzumaki Clan, and the other was a young lady of the Hyuga Main Family. How could either of them have done work like this before?

Yet now Tsunade was asking them to clean a hot spring establishment—the largest one in Konoha, no less. Who knew whether they could get the whole place clean? Even if they could, it would work them to death.

"Do your best. I have faith in you.

"This is my Tsunade Squad's first mission. I'm sure you won't disappoint me, right?

"Failing your very first mission could affect the missions you're allowed to take in the future." A sly gleam flashed through Tsunade's eyes.

Back when she had first become a ninja, Teacher Sarutobi had assigned them plenty of infuriating missions that had nearly driven them over the edge. Even someone with Orochimaru's temperament had lost his composure.

Now she could inflict them on her own students, one by one. Perhaps this was the joy of being a teacher!

Still, she was not simply tormenting Uchiha Yi and the others. After all, ninja sometimes had to face all sorts of awful situations. If they could not even clean a hot spring establishment, they might as well give up.

"Lady Tsunade, you're here!" The owner hurried over to greet Tsunade when he saw her arrive.

"Yes. These three children will be cleaning the hot springs. Just give them the equipment.

"Oh, and arrange a private room for me, along with some snacks and beer. That won't be a problem, will it?" Tsunade asked, pointing at Uchiha Yi and the other two.

"Not at all! I'll get your room ready right away!" the owner hastily assured her. Tsunade had always spent generously. The cost of hiring ninja to clean the establishment probably did not even exceed what she would spend on this visit.

"All right, get cleaning. Don't disappoint me!" Tsunade waved at them, then headed toward the private room the owner had arranged, leaving Uchiha Yi and the other two staring at one another.

At that moment, even Hyuga Rinka looked unhappy.

"All right, let's get to work. If we finish quickly, perhaps we can get Teacher Tsunade to treat us to a soak." Uchiha Yi picked up the cleaning tools and let out a weary sigh. "Kushina, I'll use shadow clones to help in a bit. If you don't mind, you can use them too. Besides, cleaning while standing on the hot spring water can be a form of training."

As he spoke, Uchiha Yi walked into the communal bath and planted both feet on the surface of the water. "Water walking is an essential part of a ninja's training. It requires a fair amount of chakra control.

"You haven't practiced water walking yet, so this is a perfect chance to work on it."

"Right! I understand!" Realization dawned on Kushina Uzumaki's face. No wonder Big Sis Tsunade had brought them on this mission. It had been to train them all along. She had misjudged her.

Hyuga Rinka gave Uchiha Yi a thoughtful look. Was that really the case?

Still, it did not matter. She might as well use this opportunity to train.
