"What a bunch of little monsters."
Redfield watched the children train and could not help admiring them.
The oldest, Titan, was only fourteen, and the youngest was nine. They were practically overflowing with talent.
"If every monster had children like you, the whole sea would be in chaos."
It was a rare joke from him.
But it was true. The more monsters there were at sea, the more ambitious people there would be, and the greater the chaos.
That was unlikely to happen, though.
Hades was the king of the Kronos Kingdom. He could have a vast harem, and there were people to look after his children.
Most pirates, on the other hand, slept with women and walked away. They cared about nothing but their ambitions and dreams.
To them, women were mostly a burden.
Some might not even know they had children.
Women at sea, though, would very likely choose to give birth if they became pregnant.
People in this world were strong on average. Unless a woman was exceptionally frail, difficult births were rare.
A few chose to raise their children themselves, but most sent them straight to welfare homes or orphanages.
That was simply how this world worked. Some people could barely support themselves, especially in the New World.
As for training, Redfield had little to advise them on. The Kronos Kingdom knew what it was doing.
All sorts of extreme training methods had spread across the sea, including the method Hades had practiced for years on Hachinosu: using warships to toughen himself.
Overlord Dragon Zack, Demon Nash, and even Kaido after them had all secretly learned from it.
For monsters like them, their powerful recovery was enough to heal the damage caused by training without leaving any lingering injuries.
