Adoption into the Xu Household

Xu Mingwei found Little White after killing two unusually large, fierce tigers. Only afterward did he discover that the tigress had recently given birth; he stated that he would have spared her had he known. He carried the cub home against his chest rather than placing it beside its parents’ pelts in his bundle 20.

Xu Mingshu initially mistook the cub for a white kitten and immediately took a liking to him. Xu Chuan recognized him as a white tiger. Little White grew up alongside Mingshu, becoming both her companion and her mount 20 103.

Household Service

Little White accompanied Xu Mingwei’s bridal procession at Mingshu’s suggestion, helping the Xu family demonstrate its strength before the Yang Household. At the residence gate, he knocked aside Qi Wenzhi with his tail after the youth challenged the procession 32 33.

He later carried Mingshu in pursuit of Wu Zhan, who had left Qingjiang more than an hour earlier. Third, the Azurefire Eagle, searched from above while Little White supplied the ground speed needed to catch up 103.

Family and Territorial Role

Little White fathered four cubs with a tigress whose intelligence and physique had improved through spirit medicines and pills. Two were born demon beasts and two were mutants. His demon-beast offspring were subsequently placed under Xu Mingwei and Xu Mingyuan through Spirit-Commanding Restrictions 178 179 187.

He also taught his other two cubs to hunt and later found another mate 194. After reaching the third rank, he became guardian of the Cloudgold Mountains and served as both bait and a combatant in the coordinated ambush of a middle-third-rank Heavenly Fire Python 245.

He can be jealous of other beasts receiving her praise. During the pursuit of Wu Zhan, he roars when she congratulates Third, prompting her to reassure him that their bond is special because they grew up together. He also rubs his head against her to win her over when she threatens to withhold food 103 132.

Despite his imposing adult size, he retains a comic, approachable manner. When a startled Xu Household guard nearly attacks him at a teleportation formation, he stands on his hind legs, raises a paw, and identifies himself as a “friendly tiger” before producing his household token 622.
