His power spread across the world as he punished his critics, while Magneto considered the Mutants’ future secure and Russell turned to improving advanced technology.

• Russell entered Hell to test his body against its corrosive energies, fought demons alongside Ancient One, and grew stronger while Mephisto introduced him to Magik.
• Magneto rallied the Mutants against the government’s attack, while Jean Grey unleashed the Phoenix Force against Walker and Li Xiangyang joined Magneto in defending the Four Seasons Hotel.
• Russell returned from Hell, destroyed the Hounds, stopped twenty-three nuclear bombs, and used their energy to destroy a Chitauri Leviathan and military satellites.
• Russell transported the White House to the Four Seasons Hotel, forced the President to surrender, crippled General Darian, and made Kingpin president of America.
• Russell created a Plasma Spark Tower that healed New York, then sent Magneto and Jean to free Professor X and other Mutants from Stryker’s base and asked Kingpin to find Robert Reynolds.
• Kingpin’s government declared rebel-associated superheroes enemies, while Russell’s healing light drew worshippers and governments reconsidered their treatment of Mutants.

• Tony and the Avengers faced Thanos, while Russell supplied working Infinity Stones that let Banner restore the vanished and Thor destroy Thanos’s forces.

• Russell returned to Earth, promised to remove the uncontrolled Mutants, then agreed to help Uatu defeat Ultron in exchange for Watcher privileges and intelligence.
• Russell created Infinity Stones for Tony’s gauntlet, and Uatu used the stones to destroy Ultron and erase his mechanical army.
• Russell restored the damaged universe, became its temporary Watcher, and sent Dark Strange to meet his uncorrupted counterpart and Christine Palmer.

Knull awakened beneath the Arctic ice and brought the Living Abyss to Earth, forcing Russell and Thor to confront him. Thor received the World Tree’s Rune Power and the Necrosword, but Knull enlisted Malekith and the Dark Elves to disrupt Thor’s connection to the World Tree.

• Knull awoke beneath the Arctic ice and began summoning Symbiotes, while Nippon’s leaders sought help against the sea beasts and Russell clashed with the rampaging Steve Rogers.
• Tony Stark captured Steve and stabilized the Helicarrier, while Russell restored Peter Parker’s human form and helped him bond with the Symbiote he named Venom.
• Thor and Tony fought Knull as he advanced toward New York, while Tony confronted Dark Strange and Thor was trapped in Knull’s altered memories.
• Russell drove the darkness from New York and confronted Knull, then freed Thor from the Symbiote cocoon and proposed making him Rune King Thor.
• Hela escaped her seal and headed for Asgard, while Russell confronted the Shadow Elder Gods and transferred the World Tree’s Rune Power to Thor.
• Russell gave Thor the Necrosword, and Thor wounded Knull with the blade and his new rune power.
• Knull recruited Malekith, whose Dark Elf fleet entered the Solar System and began targeting the World Tree’s energy supply to weaken Thor.
