Driven by the urge to protect her brother, Young Girl attacked Tatsumaki with deadly force. But she could not touch her, let alone break through the green barrier around her.

Young Girl could hardly be blamed for going too far. She had only recently entered the outside world and was still getting used to her Psychic Powers. She had yet to develop more effective ways to attack, and mastering teleportation and the ability to cut through a human body was already no small feat.

When Young Girl suddenly appeared before her, Tatsumaki flicked her little hand and sent her flying backward.

Seeing his sister blasted away, the Young Man's eyes blazed gold. Veins bulged on his forehead as a terrifying surge of energy gathered around him, ready to burst outward.

After being thwarted again and again, the Young Man felt deeply humiliated. Rage overwhelmed him, and he was about to unleash an indiscriminate attack in every direction.

Luke sensed the danger at once.

He had seen it happen before. With a single strike from the Young Man, everything within several yards had been swept away. Inside that vast sphere centered on him, he had been the only thing left.

The Young Man was clearly putting all his strength into it this time. If he fully unleashed his Psychic Powers, the destruction would be even worse than before.

Luke could not let that happen.

This was the Mitarai Family estate. It was worth far more than the Abnormal Human Research Center's old, run-down building.

Besides, if the Young Man lost his head and destroyed the place, Tatsumaki would probably tear him to pieces.

So Luke had to step in.
