Background and History

April was the daughter of Claren, a robotics researcher, and Fimia. When the Ophiuchus Legion targeted Claren's robot blueprints and three mysterious Black Stones, the family was attacked during a voyage; Fimia and April's sister Cypriel were believed lost at sea. Claren hid April in a cave, entrusted his research materials to her, and lured the Legion's searchers away at the cost of his life 35.

After waiting alone for her father, April left the cave in search of food. She survived by relying on strangers' kindness, preserving honey in her candy jar, and eventually befriended a young blue dragon by sharing it with him 40 45. When the Ophiuchus Legion tried to capture her and kill the dragon, April tried to protect her new companion until Mu Yang intervened, killed Commander Lusha's unit, and offered both of them a home at Tianxin Style 46 47.

Alice and Aisafu welcomed April into their household, while Mu Yang became her protector and elder-brother figure. April formally joined Tianxin Style, began martial-arts training, and committed herself to becoming a scientist capable of understanding Claren's blueprints and Black Stones 48 50. Her academic talent soon earned her admission to West City's best school 155.

As an adult, April became a scientist and school research director in West City, overseeing Gero and Briefs while continuing Black Stone research. She co-developed Hoi-Poi Capsule technology, created Artificial Human Seedlings, and eventually used a Black Stone to modify herself into an Eternal-type Android 200 280 395.

Briefs' investigation later led April to Cyril, an amnesiac researcher who proved through DNA testing to be her lost sister Cypriel. April helped secure Cypriel's family and supplied them with Artificial Human Seedlings for protection 357 359.

After encountering Majin 21, April chose to integrate Majin cells into her android body. The process granted her Majin power but initially drove her berserk across the universe; Android 21 rescued and stabilized her. April subsequently mastered the form, absorbed Majin essence to reach the Demigod level, and later attained Angel Level 448 456 457 582 695.

During a time-space incident, April returned to the era of her childhood tragedy. She used a Time-Space Seal to preserve Claren and Fimia within her body, allowing Gaia to resurrect them on Earth. Cypriel later recovered her childhood memories, reuniting the family 693 695.

She remains protective of children and family, such as shielding Ufir from a demon's violence and worrying constantly about Tais's safety during her travels 164 398.

Her devotion to research is intense enough that she routinely loses track of time, works through the night, and neglects rest or personal matters when a project interests her 231 320. She is also ambitious: recognizing that ordinary martial-arts training could not close the gap between herself and Mu Yang, she pursued android modification and later Majin evolution through science 359 448.

Though usually gentle and composed, April becomes ruthless when those close to her are endangered. During the battle on Planet Sala, fear for Mu Yang's safety drove her to slaughter fleeing ancient Saiyans without mercy 411.
