Broken Wedding and Separation from Tang Hao

Ah Yin had known Tang Hao for years and intended to marry him at the place where she had taken human form. When Ye Tian, Bibi Dong, and Chrysanthemum Douluo arrived on their wedding day, she recognized Ye Tian’s Auspicious Beast aura and asked him to officiate. He refused, warning that remaining with Tang Hao would cost her life 22 23.

Tang Hao attacked Ye Tian and revealed his Divine Slaughter’s Domain. Its overwhelming killing intent horrified Ah Yin, whose life-oriented nature made her hate slaughter. Ye Tian emphasized the nearly thousand deaths involved in Tang Hao’s Slaughter City trials; Tang Hao acknowledged that he had entered to grow stronger. Ah Yin rejected his explanations and declared their relationship over 23 24.

Ye Tian then claimed that Tang Hao wanted her Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring and Soul Bone. Becoming Qilin Grass

After Tang Hao’s defeat and escape, Ah Yin accepted Ye Tian’s offer to become his maid, considering service to the Elder Auspicious Beast Qilin an honor. He brought her to the Lake of Life and introduced her to Ah Rou, Xiao Wu, the Titan Giant Ape, and the Sky Azure Bull Python 25 26.

Ah Yin willingly allowed Ye Tian to devour part of her Blue Silver Emperor bloodline. The loss severely injured her origin, but she endured until he stopped. As compensation, he gave her two drops of qilin essence blood. Their assimilation initially endangered her because of a conflict between her plant bloodline and the qilin bloodline 26.

Ye Tian resolved the conflict, transforming her into Qilin Grass—the world’s only plant Auspicious Beast. She replenished her origin through nearby vegetation and learned to hide her Soul Beast aura. She then left the forest with Ye Tian, Bibi Dong, and Ah Rou 27.

Life in Spirit Hall

Bibi Dong initially reacted jealously to Ah Yin’s attempts to care for Ye Tian, but later apologized. To avoid suspicion, she presented Ah Yin and Ah Rou as maids brought back to attend to her and Ye Tian’s daily needs. The two cared for him during the following two years 27 28.

Ah Yin later assisted Ye Tian’s trap for Qian Xunji by returning to her former wedding site in disguise. She knew she was helping lure Qian Xunji into danger, but did not know that Tang Hao was the person Ye Tian expected her to meet. When Spirit Hall’s party arrived, she deliberately released her Soul Beast aura. Tang Hao intervened to protect her and gravely wounded Qian Xunji; Ye Tian subsequently drove him away and returned to Spirit Hall with Ah Yin 33 34 35.

She accompanied the group to Death Canyon, where she obtained her seventh Soul Ring and became a Soul Saint. After Bibi Dong later departed for Slaughter City, Ah Yin and Ah Rou accepted Ye Tian’s romantic advances together 45 47 48.

Her reverence for Auspicious Beasts makes her exceptionally trusting of Ye Tian. She accepts his judgment over Tang Hao’s explanations, willingly endures the loss of part of her bloodline, and pledges lifelong service. Her gratitude is practical: she offers to help him rest after he exhausts himself assisting her and continues attending to his household needs in Spirit Hall 24 26 27 43.
