History

Sea Creature Apocalypse Worldline

After the Sea Creatures devastate Terra, Kal'tsit works with medical operators and handles logistics among humanity's remaining survivors. When Chen Ran's eye and hand appear over the planet, she tries to calm the terrified survivors, warning them against assuming the incomprehensible being is necessarily malicious 6 7.

When a fanatic escapes to seek the descending Holy Sword, Kal'tsit lets her go rather than risk unrest within the shelter. She follows in hopes of negotiating for humanity's survival, witnesses the fanatic's gruesome assimilation into a Sea Creature, and refuses the Divine Messenger's invitation to become one herself 10 11.

Kal'tsit draws the Holy Sword with Mon3tr's aid and steps onto Chen Ran's palm. Taken into space, she realizes that Terra is only a small world beneath the gaze of an entity able to handle planets as objects and create new ones without explanation 11 12.

Her first audience with Chen Ran is dominated by mutual misunderstanding. When he advises humanity to increase its population, Kal'tsit interprets this as a demand that she offer herself in exchange for humanity's survival; Chen Ran later broadcasts the incident to embarrass her 12 13. Nevertheless, her negotiations result in food, water, and housing for the survivors, enabling the settlement to endure 14.

The survivors begin treating Kal'tsit as a saint, prophet, and Divine Messenger. She does not stop the new religion, but fabricates more acceptable doctrine because Chen Ran's actual answer to how humanity should proceed—having children—would be disastrous to present unfiltered 20.

After learning that the Sea Creature apocalypse can recur in two years, Savior Kal'tsit becomes determined to prevent it. She coordinates with another Kal'tsit counterpart, reports on Yelagund's condition to Chen Ran, and accepts that her world and its inhabitants have become Chen Ran's possessions 36 37.

Following the world's catastrophe, the remaining survivors relocate to the flattened lands of Siracusa to rebuild. Savior Kal'tsit remains protective of the planet, directly rejecting Precise's request to take it over 73 223.

Normal Worldline

In another worldline, Kal'tsit recognizes the danger posed by the Demon King Rabbit and attempts to secure an audience with Chen Ran by offering belief rather than demanding a price. Her approach is calculated: she seeks protection for Terra while preserving room to maneuver for humanity 34.

She is brought to Chen Ran's realm, where he shows her footage of Savior Kal'tsit’s humiliation and submission. The experience leaves her disturbed by what her counterpart has become and by Chen Ran's treatment of both versions of her 35 36.

Back on Terra, Kal'tsit works to contain the consequences of divine intervention. She warns nations against human sacrifice, monitors threats involving Heaven's Point and Originium, raises Amiya, teaches the Doctor, and attempts to prevent anyone from provoking Chen Ran 37 57.

When the Doctor begins speaking of restarts and a second playthrough, Kal'tsit decides to keep the Doctor close for observation. She later considers seeking help from Chen Ran or the Demon King Rabbit to address possible control of Originium Authority 63 71.

Kal'tsit also urges Chen Ran not to judge all Terrans by the exceptional obedience of the Sea Creature Apocalypse survivors. She asks him to wait and observe the people's attitudes before bestowing benefits on them 74.

Encounters with Precise

Kal'tsit is intensely wary of Precise, whom she considers a parental figure by origin but fears for her inhuman treatment of living beings 183. When Precise is awakened from her Sarcophagus, Kal'tsit immediately attempts to command Mon3tr against the threat 182.

Precise later uses Originium Authority to seize control of Kal'tsit's body, forcing her to place her hand in Precise's palm and meow like a cat despite her resistance 183. In a later confrontation, Savior Kal'tsit prepares to fight Precise after being questioned about Chen Ran, but system interference prevents Precise from initiating a sacrifice process 226.

Lost Kal'tsit

Lost Kal'tsit identifies herself as Ama-10 and is bewildered when two identical cat-like Kal'tsit counterparts lead rebels through the Holy City. She suspects they may be sister units, clones, or an unknown contingency connected to Pre-Civilization 93.

After overhearing the other cats discussing Precise, Lost Kal'tsit becomes uneasy about her own identity and loyalties. When Chen Ran reaches into the planet model to take her away, she calmly stops Leimu'an from trying to save her, having understood what is happening 94 96.
