Background / History

Skadi came from an ordinary family and graduated from school before attempting to become a knight. During a rigged match, her opponent continued attacking after her surrender in order to publicly humiliate her. The Unarmored Alliance offered her revenge and the chance to become the next Platinum Grandmaster if she killed that opponent; Skadi refused because she had never killed anyone before. 125

Unable to advance as a knight because of her lack of influence, Skadi became an idol. Her Pegasus bloodline gave her striking looks, but it also made her a target for exploitation by the Commercial Federation and the Unarmored Alliance. Exhausted by constant pressure, she abandoned her forced smile and adopted a cold, expressionless public persona—which only increased her popularity. 125

Skadi is repeatedly confused with Heart of the Corrupted Skadi, a Sea Creature entity sharing her appearance. When Sea Creatures transformed into white-haired, red-eyed girls with her face, Skadi feared that she herself might be one. Skadi is swept into the Sea Creatures' world and is mistaken for a Divine Messenger because of her resemblance to Heart of the Corrupted Skadi. While maintaining that façade in Sargol, she uncovers the scale of the Abyssal Church's infiltration among its elite. 39 58

Isabella later appoints Skadi as an administrator, granting her Divine Messenger authority. Skadi uses it to transform Sargol's population and reorganize its power structure through a major purge. 59 76

Idol and Revenge Arc

After refusing the Unarmored Alliance's first offer, Skadi becomes an idol to survive Kazimierz's commercial system. When the Alliance returns with hostile intent, she awakens her time-based powers and begins systematically eliminating those involved in targeting her. 125 126 128
