Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Two-hundred-year yellow Soul Spirit 6 Na’er selects it for having the strongest bloodline among three available Golden-Eyed Silver Snake Soul Spirits, passing over a three-hundred-year specimen.
Bloodline-enhanced Soul Spirit 7 Fusion with the Silver Dragon Spear transforms its body and produces Na’er’s first yellow Soul Ring. Its age after the transformation is not stated.

Background / History

Na’er obtained Golden Eyes at the Aolai City Spirit Pagoda using funding supplied by Red Mountain Academy. Among the branch’s eleven kinds of yellow Soul Spirits, the Spirit Transmitter described the Golden-Eyed Silver Snake as arguably possessing the strongest bloodline, with the potential to evolve into a ten-thousand-year Soul Beast. Na’er examined three specimens and chose the two-hundred-year one after sensing its superior bloodline 5 6.

Once released from its Soul Spirit orb, the snake initially curled up in fear of Na’er’s aura. Her goodwill coaxed it out, and it wrapped around her arm. In a private fusion room, it willingly coiled around the Silver Dragon Spear and merged without resistance under the weapon’s bloodline suppression. The process took less than half an hour, compared with the roughly one hour the Spirit Transmitter expected 7.

After the fusion, Na’er asked it to shrink so its transformation would not attract questions. She promised to treat it well, required it to fight when needed, and named it Golden Eyes. It accepted the name and eagerly sought to prove its worth 7.

Appearance

  • Coloration: Silver body and golden eyes 7.
  • Original size: Less than one meter long 7.
  • Transformed size: Two meters long, with scales shining with silver light 7.
  • Usual position: Coiled around Na’er’s arm after returning to its original size 7.

Personality

Golden Eyes is timid in the presence of overwhelming power. It hides from Na’er’s aura until it senses her goodwill, and later retreats to the inside of her arm after detecting Tang Wulin’s aura. Before sensing Wulin’s power, it reacts to his touch with disdain 7.

Despite its fear, it recognizes the opportunity offered by bonding with the Silver Dragon Spear. It cooperates readily, responds to Na’er’s instructions by nodding, and commits its new name deeply to memory 7.

Abilities & Skills

Bloodline Evolution

Bonding with the Silver Dragon Spear considerably strengthens and transforms Golden Eyes 7.

  • Its body grows immediately during fusion 7.
  • The species’ stated ten-thousand-year potential is a possible future development, not an attained rank 6.
  • Na’er considers even transformation into a flood dragon plausible, but Golden Eyes does not undergo that transformation in the documented fusion 7.

Size Reduction

Golden Eyes can shrink from its transformed two-meter body back to its original size 7.

  • It does so instantly at Na’er’s request, allowing her to conceal the extent of its transformation 7.

Silver Snake Thrust

Golden Eyes grants Na’er Silver Snake Thrust, her first Soul Skill 7.

  • Na’er activates the yellow Soul Ring on the Silver Dragon Spear and thrusts forward, releasing a streak of white light 7.
  • Its first demonstration pierces straight through a large tree 7.

Relationships

  • Na’er — Bonded Soul Master and the source of its bloodline transformation. She names it, strokes its head, and promises care while insisting that it contribute in battle 7.
  • Tang Wulin — Admires Golden Eyes and gently touches it. His aura frightens the snake into hiding against Na’er’s arm 7.
