The cozy room was steeped in silence, the atmosphere utterly lifeless.
Qin Yumo chuckled. "We're not right for each other? You want me to find someone better suited to me? Come on, Chen Hao, you haven't even been drinking today. Why are you talking such nonsense?"
As she spoke, Qin Yumo reached out to feel Chen Hao's forehead, but he dodged her hand.
He dared not look at Qin Yumo. "I'm not talking nonsense. I mean it. I've fallen in love with someone else."
"Who?" Qin Yumo's expression froze.
Just then, someone knocked on the door, and Chen Hao got up to answer it.
The moment Xiang Wencun entered and saw the two of them having a candlelit dinner, she turned to leave. "Sorry. I'll come back later."
"Wait!" Chen Hao called Xiang Wencun back, then took her hand right in front of Qin Yumo.
Xiang Wencun froze as well. "What are you doing?"
Still bewildered, she was pulled over to stand before Qin Yumo.
Chen Hao looked at Xiang Wencun and told Qin Yumo, "You should know about my relationship with Xiang Wencun. The reason I think we're not right for each other is that she and I have rekindled our old feelings."
"What?!" Xiang Wencun was completely stunned, staring at Chen Hao with wide eyes.
Qin Yumo gave a hollow laugh, still unable to believe what was happening. "Chen Hao, stop lying to me. Look at her. Xiang Wencun doesn't know anything about this."
The next second, Chen Hao wrapped an arm around Xiang Wencun's slender waist, pulled her into his embrace, and kissed her.
Watching Chen Hao actually kiss another woman right in front of her, Qin Yumo could no longer tolerate it. No matter how understanding she was, he had crossed her bottom line.
